100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

43. EL pure color love in 400 Rebel Glam. Came in a ombré kit with a blue and an orange. It’s so much easier too apply tubes when it has the straight edge on it. When I naturally wear down a tube it always ends up that shape anyway, so I always dig it when it starts off that way. Sloppy application, I’m up early and playing with makeup so, eh.

Lipstick 246: Pat McGrath MatteTrance in Deep Orchid. I’ll share 2 photos so you can see why I always complain about my bathroom lighting being too bleepin’ warm toned. The fluorescent lit photo is much truer to color, and it also shows how this shade wears after 3 hours of water and coffee.

This is another shade I frequently talked myself out of buying. But Pat’s current 25-30% off sale did me in. And hey, it’s another one of the special holiday cased bullets; that’s like totally a valid excuse to buy one more PMG bullet, right? 😄

Oh wow, the bathroom lighting is completely giving it an over warm peachy look.  Looks like two completely different lipsticks @WinglessOne ❤️.  Love the orchid shade on you on the right lol.  You still look great in both photos but I agree, my lighting can give a completely different look to shadows and lipsticks.  Especially if it’s a cloudy/sunny day my photos look so different.

42. Oryza in Opus. First time trying this brand. It was pretty slick and I got a bit wobbly on the lines. Next time I’ll use a liner to keep that under control. Transfer is real. I do really like the color and but there is a slight floral perfume scent that I’m not too jazzed on. Came in a sub of some sort. Over all not bad but I wouldn’t spend money on it due to the problems. I have similar colors with less transfer, easier application, and better scent. It is a truly beautiful color, so I’m not weeding it.

@Weetart  Hmm, don’t think I’ve ever heard of this brand, and now I must investigate. That shade is beautiful on you. Boo to difficult application, though. Is this a bullet or a liquid satin?

Bullet. I’ve never heard of it as well @WinglessOne. I think it’s going to be workable if I do full liner coverage. I mean, it’s so pretty.

I’ve cleaned up and sorted my lipstick collections.  I do this seasonally.  My Too Faced collection isn’t that large but here are all the liquid lipsticks I have from the brand.

I have a few glosses and one bullet, surprised I don’t have more bullets because it’s a good formula and smells good too.

Couldnt get to posts using Chrome, it kept looping to my profile. Posting from the app. Thank goodness i only need to post 1 pic and nothing needs to be in order.... Marc Jacobs Kiss Pop in Crush. One of the many things i got during the Holiday sale. I thought I would love this but its ok. Its not opaque as i thought it would be, I had to do 2 coats to get this look. It is hydrating which is a plus. I will have use for it cuz it is orange 😁.
