100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

In order from Left to Right Day22- Bite Brioche Day 23- Bite Honeywheat Day 24- NARS Pride (7 deadly sins palette)- can’t wait to try all the shades in this palette. I actually prefer this over lipstick tube. It’s a lip bit less product but convenient to carry around.

I was so excited about finding my PMG eyeshadow quad in-store yesterday, I forgot to post yesterday’s lipstick. 😂 This is the 231st lipstick I’ve worn in this thread: Illamasqua Glamore in Vampetta.

This needs another wear test because I didn’t wear it long yesterday. I honestly hadn’t planned to wear anything, but an inventory check of my local PMG-stocked Sephora got me quickly dressed, minimally makeupped, and out the door! I didn’t even grab coffee on my way to the store, so I can’t say much about how the Glamore formula wears down. But it felt very comfy on my lips, not drying at all, didn’t feather or bleed (but again, I didn’t give it The Coffee Test), and was richly pigmented with 1.5 coats. The bullet has a slight waxy-oily lipstick smell, but it doesn’t smell rancid and I couldn’t smell it after application. And Vampetta is a great oxblood color: it’s a deep brown-toned burgundy red, almost like a lighter version of PMG McMenamy. I’ll give this a better test later this week.
