100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Today it’s Film Noir by MAC.  Thanks to @Weetart and @WinglessOne 🥰 it wears wonderful like just about every MAC lipstick.  I caved and ordered a bunch of $6.95 lipsticks from Melt yesterday for NLD.  They usually cost me $21 CDN.  I took a pic of my MAC bullets which is not a crazy big selection.  Hmmm I’m surprised and I found one I never bought called All Fired Up.  Must be one of my daughters leaving it for me and probably taking something else lol.  Blankety was in my purse and I was too lazy to go find it for the photo.  I did swatch my Amuse Bouche liquified lipsticks by Bite and I have 4 of them one being a mini.  It’s supposedly the same shade as my full size Demi-glacé but it’s not.  It’s greyer and deeper toned hmmm again because I’ve never bought the same shade accidentally twice and when I swatched in store it seemed different.  I was right they are not the same.

Ummmm well then we will have to catch up and you won’t feel weird about the number of lipsticks you have lol.  Seriously I think @WinglessOne has a substantial collection and so does @RGbrown.  I know I have around 150.  I really should count them but I prefer denial 😘😁

@2manyperfumes  @Girly2Shoes  If it makes y’all feel better, I know someone who has over 500 lipsticks. (Probably over 600 by now, though she’s supposedly decluttering. She bought the entire Wu-Tang x Milk lipstick collection. 🤣) She’s also the friend of mine who collects Japanese makeup brushes. She turned one of her bedrooms into a beauty room and it seriously looks like a beauty boutique store and brush showroom. She says most of her stash is for collection purposes, but she does actually use a lot of her makeup. It just takes her a long time to rotate through it all.

Wow that is a wild number but I bet you her room is amazing 😉 I sometimes watch this YouTube Tarabynz?  Her collection room is beyond belief.  Hundreds - industrial storage drawers full and she keeps collecting.  That would be a lot of fun pouring through all her items.  I wish I had a room that was just mine ❤️
