100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@divaknits  It’s a beautiful nude pink for you! But I know what you mean: these are the kinds of shades I put on and think “hmm, it’s not quite enough.” Still, it’s good to have a shade like this you can wear with pretty much anything or on its own. 🙂 It’s really lovely. 

I sometimes travel with a nude pink plus a bold red or berry. I can wear each shade on its own, but I can also apply a base coat of the nude pink and then add the other shade to my lips’ outer corners and edges for an ombré look. It’s a fairly quick way to add a little interest to a nude shade.

There isnt anything missing per se, its a great pink nude on you 😊. Maybe some eyeshadow to enhance it more? @divaknits

Thanks @Buootiful! Maybe you’re right. I’ve been valuing my sleep so much that I haven’t had time to do more than a quick swipe of lipstick. I even have to put one out the night before. That’s how late I get up. I miss putting on a full face though. Soooo tired. 😴

This is my second ABH liquid lipstick in shade Sepia.  It dried my lips up right after it dried so I couldn’t wear it on its own.  I had to put some butter gloss on immediately (tiramisu) by NYX.  Disappointing but at least I found it for less than half at Winners.

I find ABH liquid lipstick to be a bit drying too @2manyperfumes. I have one I got in a Sephora Favorites box and I rarely wear it. I haven’t even worn it for this challenge. I love the final results of yours.

Its a good color. Good price for a disappointing performance. At least you can play around with other lippies. The Nyx goes really well with this one. 😊 @2manyperfumes
