100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Love them both on you @WinglessOne 😍 beautiful shades.  I’ve been stalking Black Moon Cosmetics for a year now.  So glad to see one on this thread.

Thanks @2manyperfumes ! Black Moon is sold in at least 2 local stores here (Riley Rose and, very recently, one of the Ulta locations), so I’ve been able to stalk a small selection of their stuff in person. I haven’t been wowed by their eyeshadows, but the liquid matte lipsticks are very pretty. 🙂

I agree about the eyeshadows @WinglessOne - just like their liquid lipstick shades.  Have you seen their eye toppers (liquid eyeshadows)?  Or highlighters?

@2manyperfumes  I haven’t seen their liquid shadows in person. But the last time I was at Riley Rose, I swatched all their highlighters and wow, talk about a light show! 🤩 I wanted to buy 4 of them but talked myself out of them, since I was already taking a chance on the LA Splash lipstick I bought instead. Plus, I kept asking myself “be honest: when and where will you wear some of these?” Especially about Glow Worm which is a beautiful crazy neon citron beam. There’s no way to tone that one down. 🤣 My brain was in full raven mode for a few minutes, mesmerized by the swatches on my hand, wanting to collect all the pretty shinies. 

Next time I’m at that store, I’ll take a picture of swatches and will probably bring a highlighter home with me.

Ooh I’d be in a trance too.  Lol 😂 there’s a blue possibly squid? And that darn glow worm that I obsessed over haaa.  If you check their site it comes in this wonderful moon globe container.  I did like the shades and you can get their lippies in that globe.  I think they have themes nudes, reds, etc.  There’s two gorgeous greens one is called mermaider? And a red called Armageddon lol.  Good for you it’s hard to talk ourselves out of stuff.  I’m the worse - MAC 40% sale got me on the weekend.  I talked myself out of a yellow lipstick lol.  I was going to use it as a toopercto shift some of my browns and nudes.  I don’t need it.  Baby Bat girl online has interesting and unique lipstick shades.  ascension and Citrine were just some of them.  They recently had a 30% off with code but I refrained.  Just to spend it at Sephora on the Impulsive palette.  I also swatched the new violet Voss palette with the top row of glitter 👍👍 but thankfully they were sold out so it didn’t end up in my basket.  Phew

@WinglessOne, I thought about BlitzTrance in Rebel Red, but my local store doesn't have PMG, and by "local", in mean 45 min away.  I just am not sure how the color will look on me.  It looks good on you in your picture!

Thanks @curlychiquita ! Are there any shades kinda similar to Rebel Red (pinky reds, strawberry reds, even a ruby red for shade range comparison) you do like on you? If I have any of them, I can swatch-compare them against Rebel Red for you. 🙂
