100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Thanks @2manyperfumes ! The last thing I need (well, one of the last things I need 😂) is yet another deep dark lipstick shade, but I can’t resist them. 1980s goth punk is still alive and well in the pitch black depths of my heart. 🖤

Ooh they are pretty @WinglessOne I’m in no position to judge lol not after my recent mini madness sprees.  That’s what I call them.  Bad day at work buy a lipstick.  Never mind what I spent on my hair and products to maintain it.  I can’t resist a dark lipstick either.  In fact I’m trying to talk myself out of buying cat suit by Melt it’s back in stock on their site.  I avoid the mall as much as possible because they have a Sephora, a MAC and a NYX plus Urban Outfitters that has LimeCrime.

@2manyperfumes  Heh, I understand avoiding shopping danger zones. Any beauty product fans in Chicago know how dangerous Michigan Ave is: within 2 blocks are an Ulta (that usually sells brands other Ulta locations don’t, like MAC), Nordstrom, a standalone MAC store, and our flagship Sephora location, plus TJ Maxx and Marshalls around the corner. Farther up the ave is Water Tower Place mall which has a Macy’s, Riley Rose, another Sephora, and I’m not sure what other beauty-related stores nowadays... I did see there’s a Morphe store coming soon. 2 blocks up from WTP is the mall anchored by Bloomingdales; there’s a L’Occitane store in that mall. One of our Le Labo stores is nearby. Oh, and there’s a LUSH store just down the street from WTP. Waaaay too many places to spend money on that street. 😂

Lol oh Lord I would have to leave my wallet at home to venture there 😂 yup the mall I mentioned also has a Lush, Body Shop, L’Occitane, Shoppers Drugmart, Marshall’s, Hudson’s Bay and Winners.  If I go downtown Toronto I’m doomed.  Flagship Bite Beauty Bar, two main Sephora that carry everything.  The only good thing @WinglessOne is I’m a slow shopper I get distracted and love to look at everything before I buy something.  I don’t want to commit unless it’s something I absolutely wanted, just in case I see something of more value or better.  Clothing, shoes purses I’m not too bad or go overboard.  I will on occasion go and by some pants, tops if there’s a huge sale.  Makeup and perfume are my wallet killers.  I just want it all lol.  I hate bra shopping haaaa and just about cry when my faves fall apart from too many washings.

Thanks @heartsmyface ! In the bullet realm, it reminded me of NARS Nancy or PMG Deep Void. Curiosity drove me to swatch things a few minutes ago, in case anyone’s curious. I should’ve let Paint It Black fully dry down before taking this photo but oh well. Turns out Deep Void’s darker than Nightshade.

Makeup Revolution some type of lipstick in Red Carpet. This is another Ulta GWP. I love the color, but it seemed to wear off from the center a little bit by the end of the day with no eating or drinking, just talking. And I did a LOT of talking. Retail. Smh. This is probably not a lippie I need to wear without a primer. I’ll do that next time. I’m not impressed with Makeup Revolution’s lippies in whatever this line is supposed to be. I don’t wanna have to work hard to make a lipstick work. I love their eyeshadow though.First real smile in a while. Whoa! My hair looks like a Q-Tip!
