100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

71- YSL Vinyl 401 Rouge Vinyle. This one applied weird, but I had lip gloss under it haha. Probably didn't help. This was just a little sample card I have.

I don't know but this thread was in my notifications. So I thought I'd say something, cuz I love to receive advice or commentary, etc. First, from what I remember the YSL Rouge Vinyl was pretty glossy, kinda sticky by itself. I got the same sample card, but threw it away as I am on the Marie Kondo thing lol. But yes, if you like to apply gloss or balm before lipstick, lipstain whatever, it does do weird things and can make what you put on top not go on as nicely. Maybe this is stupid advice, but if you take your finger and pat in the gloss so it's not as heavy, what you put on top goes on better. Or, you could apply what you put on top with your finger using a dabbing method. This I think would be nice application for you! I love it when I take the time to remember how good it looks and adds a lot of sexiness, IMO. Another idea, is to find a good lip scrub and use that (if your using gloss to give your lips moisture) instead of the gloss or balm. I found one at Walmart for around $3. Ecolips lip scrub. I got the mint truffle and truly it's not as harsh as more expensive ones I've used so really I can use it daily without irritation. Hope this helps!

35 Take a bite

This is the only coral lipstick I have and I think I like it. It’s interesting to have just one of a color. I think my green lipstick is the only other color I have no dupe for. Maybe I should remedy that. 🤪 This was a great day at work. I didn’t have to be on the cash register. No dealing with crazy customers. I only had to hear how the prices at Goodwill have gotten so high once. Yes, it was a great day!
