100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer - Diamond Milk

It was gone by the end of the day and I was too busy to reapply. This works better as a topper. It does have a nice shimmer though

Ooh look at all those pretty colors! And the gloss shimmer comes through a bit in the photo @divaknits I also haven’t tried any of Fenty lipsticks. Not sure why.

TPSY Absoliptly in Rosy Glow

I don't normally go for corals, but thought maybe I needed to expand my horizons a bit. However, I think I'm still a bit on the fence on this one in particular. 🤔

This was super creamy, in a "there's no way this isn't going to smear everywhere or feather like crazy" sort of way. It went on mostly smoothly, but tried to streak a little bit in small lines, almost like the pigment was repelling itself. Doing a quick lip smoosh evened it out though, and all was well. As I checked it throughout the day, it wore down relatively well for a while, but had a tendency to pool in my lines. The insanely creamy texture never stiffened up though, and it was pretty easy to smoosh it back out and even it up again...but that requires a fairly high degree of vigilance. I will say that with the creaminess of it, my lips never once felt even slightly dry, and that doesn't happen for me very often...even the most moisturizing lipsticks make me want balm or a lipstick touch up every couple of hours, but I made it nearly 6 hours before taking this off and moving on to balm (and at that time, it had mostly worn away; as it thinned out, it started to get a little too thin and patchiness started showing up). I never touched it up after applying because I wanted a feel for how long something so dang creamy could last, and I have to say, I was kinda amazed that it lasted as long as it did...but I'm still not sure I'm sold on having to watch it and smooth it back out of my lines. I've got one more shade in this formula that I'll be trying shortly, so we'll see if it's a pigment issue or the formula in general 😊
