100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Hello! Inspired by many of you who wore beautiful nude shades, I decided to buy some. Here, I tried a little experiment. Since lip pencil can transfert, I used two liquid lipsticks : darker shade for the contour of lips and then a lighter shade. I think I'll never get 100 lipsticks, though... 😯 But I'm already looking at 2 orange/dark coral I need to add to my collection!

Very pretty look! @MlleJuju And I agree with @2manyperfumes once you are on the lookout for missing colors you never knew you needed along the random gwp you “poof” have 100 lipsticks easy.

Yes; I discovered a lot of stuff I never new I needed these last few weeks @Weetart !! 😄 But you know what? I'm off for the summer since 4pm!!! Isn't a good reason to buy new lipsticks? 😏

Very pretty nude lip @MlleJuju ❤️ You’re eyes are such a pretty colour with the makeup and lip shade and trust us you’ll reach 💯 so quickly you will be in shock how easy it is to have that many lipsticks.

Thanks @WinglessOne! 🥰 It's nothing fancy, but it's the 1st blue mascara I try that really look blue on my dark lashes. It's Maybelline The colossal big shot volum'express. I tried others that looked alright, but unless I was under the sun, they looked black...

Thank you @divaknits ! The group enables: so true! 😆 I always loved buying palettes, but didn't pay much attention to lipstick before (I had my few favorites and it felt alright). But it's hard to resist now! It's just too much fun trying new shades! 😃

Day 💯: MAC Satin Lipstick in Film Noir, gifted to me by the lovely @Weetart . Thanks again. I wanted to finish this challenge with a lippie with a mysterious sounding name, something exit stage left-ish. I’m not going anywhere. I still have more lipsticks and an ABH lip palette to get through. What have I learned from this journey? I’m not too old to wear fun colors and all nudes aren’t boring. And I have a new-found love for makeup! My husband has benefited too because he loves it when I dress up. He married into it while I was doing this so I guess I gotta keep it up. Right? :
