100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Still having ridic time posting back to you so forgive me @2manyperfumes! I agree on formula of Melt liquid lip. They are awful on their own and I can only wear it if totally using a good balm over under and all around lol lol. Ugg. Hope lipstick better but not hopeful! You aren’t old I am too! 😘🤣I hate dry wrinkled lip folds. Ugg!! Don’t need to look older than I am! Next!! 😘❤️

I can’t believe you are at 100 already! Congrats! It’s a gorgeous red but it’s too bad about the formula not being great. I hope you still post from time to time, I always love your posts 💕

Goodness, I just realized I bought this one and didn’t even try it!!! @2manyperfumes ! Tomorrow it’s definitely going on. Here is a picture of lipsticks I recently bought, put in my drawer and immediately forgot about. At least I took the Flesh out of the box. 🙄

@2manyperfumes  Congrats on reaching 100! That color is stunning on you. Coincidentally, I started today with a Melt liquid matte. It annoyed me so much, I removed it to wear something else. I don’t know why I keep trying various brands’ liquid mattes... I should know better by now. 😄 Anyway, Death Cherry really is a gorgeous color.

Thank you @WinglessOne ❤️ I’m not a fan of how they feel after they dry.  I found that Dose of Colours, Menagerie Cosmetics and Jeffree Starr formulas were much more comfortable and good formulas.  I only like the Melt bullet lipstick much better than the liquid one.

@2manyperfumes  I can’t wear Dose of Colors liquid mattes, either. 😞 My lips are extremely fussy about liquid mattes: the only ones I can comfortably wear are NARS Powermatte and MUFE Artist, and that’s only with my base prep of balm + lip primer. I want to try Menagerie’s liquid mattes because some of their shades look gorgeous, but something tells me my lips will reject them.

More brands need to work on fun colors for bullets and/or liquid satins/creams! Especially the latter, which are sadly underrepresented in the field right now.

I prefer the bullet to the liquid too if I can find the shade.  I usually am right in the middle but prefer the light whipped liquid lip.  They don’t last as long but feel better.  I agree many brands have all the same colours instead of coming up with the more fun shades that indie brands tend to create.

Thank you @Weetart it’s a great deep crazy red I wish the formula wasn’t drying I’m going to try it with a balm.  I’ll let you know if it wears better.

Omg @2manyperfumes I’m crazy about this color too. It looks so good on you, love it! Agree on dryness etc. I’ve been putting other soft colored balms on top and it helps. LQ Medieval, Bite stain, etc. ; helps a bit! It’s truly one of best reds ever I think! Do you have the regular lipsticks also?

Thank you @Sunnysmom ❤️ I’ll try some of my balms.  I do have a few regular lipsticks from a Melt and they were better.  I haven’t worn Lewd a metallic purple.  I’ll post that.  I have others too somewhere lol.
