100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@RGbrown  Not only do I really like Stallion, I just ordered a backup from MAC direct. 😂🖤 I wanted more of the Liptensity shades than Ulta has online, so I bought straight from the source. I’m finally replacing my lost Fireworks and Nobeless! I wish Blue Beat was still in production. 😞 

Here are swatches of all my black bullets. (Not gonna include my black liquid lipsticks.) I think I’ve worn 4 of these for this challenge so far. I still have UD Perversion but I should ditch it. I don’t know why I haven’t dropped it in the declutter box yet... it’s definitely not the best black I have. Gonna ditch it right after I post this. Stallion and Aeronaut are my favorites. 

I added Squid Ink, a blue so dark it’s almost black.

I made the mistake of looking up Liptensity swatches and reviews on temptalia, and there are several more that I want, in addition to the four I'm getting at Ulta 🤦(hopefully getting...Ulta is already down to only 5 shades left, but thankfully the 4 I want are still there...so far, at least).

All those shades are magical on you @WinglessOne ❤️❤️❤️❤️  Love Stallion.  I might cave and puck up some of the MAC lipsticks that are being discontinued if I like the shade and formula.

Day 76: Ardell Whipped Lipstick in Attitude Adjuster. This applies patchy. I don’t understand since the other from yesterday didn’t. Maybe it’s the tube? Maybe it’s because I forgot the primer? And to top that, the big top came all the way off so I had to screw that back in. Lipstick went all over the place. If this hadn’t been a buy-one-get-one-free situation I’d be taking this one back. They didn’t have another one of this color or another color I liked so I guess I’ll keep it, but I don’t think I’ll get this brand again. It even feels different from the one I had on yesterday and it’s the same brand and line. Today it feels so dry. This one will probably be a fast declutter.

Pretty colour @divaknits but you are right doesn’t look like the same formula at all 🤨  sounds like this lipstick was as bad as mine.  Yours too dry mine too messy.

@divaknits  Aw, and I know how much you like bold pinks. When shade formulas are inconsistent across a single line of lipsticks, it’s often the dark purple or dark burgundy/oxblood shades that are patchy, so I’m surprised that pink shade’s the problem child in this line. What the heck, Ardell? I say ditch that one, especially since you’ve got a better one coming (really, honest! I may have reopened your package a couple of times to, oh, add one or 2 surprises, hence the lateness... 😉)

Day 93. Anastasia liquid in Heathers. I wanted to match my new palette ShaylaxColourpop Proceed with Caution. And that part is okay. The part that isn’t okay is how extra pale this darn powder is in natural light.Stupid reflecting powder! It’s definitely a night time powder. I’m goingto have to wash it off, but I thought I’d show you anyways lol. That and I screwed up the line on my lip lol. At least I think I found a good color to go with this palette.
