100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Thank you @Weetart .  It takes me a lot longer to pull myself together but I had forgotten to take care of me for too many years.  I’m making up for lost time lol!  Some women look amazing with grey or white hair.  I’m glad we have more choices than decades ago.

@2manyperfumes you still look great to me!! When my face is feeling dry and textured I usually give it a VERY generous spritz of the Mario Badescu rosewater and aloe spray and it helps freshen it back up! I love your necklace too 😍

Thank you @cianni .  I’ve heard good things about the Badesco rose water, I’ve bern wanting to try it.   ❤️ I’ve been loving the collagen boost water by I think Dennis gross?  I also like the Dewy skin mist (Tatcha) and Caudilie grape water spray.  Thank you about the necklace 😊

Here’s Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Creme lipstick in C604. I’ve tried many brands’ black bullets over the years, but not MUFE’s—until today! Tonight I also tried that black iridescent Smith & Cult Hydragloss again, with C604 as a full base coat. 

I have more black lipsticks than anyone should, and that’s kinda ridiculous. 😄

C604 is stinky. Like, someone drizzled tar over a bowl of black licorice stinky. It also has an unpleasant (to me; I hate black licorice) smaste that, thankfully, disappears after a while. But it’s very comfy to wear and super opaque. Also quite creamy-shiny on its own. I wore it with a black lip liner today because I knew I’d cover it with lipgloss later tonight. 

The Smith & Cult gloss is beautiful over this lipstick: makes it glassy and iridescent sparkly. Unfortunately, it also causes lots of feathering: 30 minutes after I took that photo, my lips had a very obvious spiky outline. Lip liner wasn’t enough to contain it. 😞 Ugh S&C y u no act rite, I wanna keep you! 😭 But I’m not sure I’m willing to give it a 3rd chance (over a black matte lipstick next time), knowing I’ll also have to lay down a primer barrier to stop the bleed. SIGH...
