Hi BIC!
A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.
@Anonymous
Thanks so much! โค๏ธ
@RGbrown Heh, if it wasnโt for Oil Slick (which is actually sheer), Iโd say Urban Decay doesnโt understand the concept of โsheerโ bullets. ๐ Looks great on you!
I've got Sheer Shame coming up at some point. It's been a while since I've tried it, but I seem to recall it being fairly sheer (but very buildable...I thiiiink it took me two or three passes to get some opacity going). But otherwise, yes, someone needs to explain to UD what sheer really means ๐
Thanks so much! ๐
Definitely not sheer at all, but it looks great on you @RGbrown!
Thanks so much, ladies! ๐
@RGbrown Not sheer at all! Very nice color regardless.
@Weetart Looks like it left a pretty pink stain as it wore down. But I know what you mean about glosses wearing away too quickly.
I feel obligated to mention my favorite line of glosses, Lancรดmeโs LโAbsolu Lacquers, because of their fantastic staying power. They donโt behave like liquid mattes, of course, but they outperform (in every way) every other lip gloss Iโve ever tried. Theyโre not lip plumpers, though.
Ooh. Iโm never tried those. Iโll have to give one a go.
@lmaster Thanks! Glad you like them.
I think your twists are adorable! Very pretty look. I love the tin man comment lol! Kids are awesome! The color is fun and works on you.
Thanks @Weetart! The more I look at this color the more I think I may like it. The formula has hella transfer, but since itโs not supposed to since itโa a liquid metal. It met my fiancรฉโs seal of approval. ๐ณ As for my twists, there are people who get penalized for the way they wear there hair. Iโve heard many stories - braids, dreads, twists, Bantu knots, you name it. I know some people get in trouble for color. Hair is a way of expressing yourself. I got hired at my new job with my wild Afro. Iโll be in twists and one of my more sedate (blue, orange, purple? Nah maybe I need to work my way up to those. ๐คฃ) But who knows? My manager has a nose ring and platinum hair.
It's terrible! I've heard stories of people getting in trouble because of their hair too. I'm glad your workplace encourages individuality.
