100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Tonight I wore one of my goodies from the last round of rouge 20% off: Bite Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Black Truffle. I love the blackened wine color. It’s very creamy when I first apply it, but it mattes as it wears down—and it stays comfy. This photo shows 2 hours of wear. 

My only complaint with Bite lipsticks in general is the bleeding/feathering. I have that problem with all the Bites I’ve tried. At least it’s very minimal with this one: you can’t see it in this photo. My favorite Bite (Kale) very noticeably bleeds a lot. I just need to remember to use primer (and in some cases, a lip liner) with Bites. They’re worth the extra effort.

@WinglessOne Beautiful! I feel the same way about the Bite crayons, the feathering drives me nuts unless I use the invisible liner pencil. The colors are worth it, but sometimes, a girl just wants to be lazy and swipe and go 🙂

This color looks great on you, @WinglessOne. Gotta share with you, my daughter is in a Christmas play, and just found out tonight she will need to wear mascara, blush, and lipstick. Her first request was TURQUOISE lipstick. I thought of you. I told her no, honey, I’m sorry, then she asked for navy, I said no again, then she asked for black. I am all for it, as I know she would be happy but would be the only angel wearing black lipstick 😂  It might just have to be a first!
