100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Day 90: Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Drivers Seat

I remember when I (we) got this in an early Play! Box and everyone was super disappointed that this wasn't a "wearable" color. I'm still in disbelief 'cause I think it's great and a "neutral". I love this color. Cat is done for the night. Happy Thanksgiving my US peeps!

I think that this colour is either a hit or miss @snoflakefaerie ! It looks great on you, but it wouldn’t have the same effect on me ! Your tortoise shell cat is so adorable!

@snoflakefaerie Drivers Seat looks great on you! It’s the kind of coral I can’t wear (heh, almost all corals fall into that category), but you definitely can.

Also, what a pretty cat! I kinda wanna reach into the photo and pet her. 🙂 (I assume she’s female since she’s a calico.)

@snoflakefaerie Hehehe, you look great 🙂 I got driver's seat too and it worked great for me, but I think there's a definite cool-ish/white base undertone that puts it juuuuust on the edge of neutral for a lot of people.

Oh @snoflakefaerie. I remember that color and it was a DEFINITE no go on me. Must be one of those not really universal universal colors. Looks great on you though darlin’!

@snoflakefaerie Apparently, @jozkid and I are on the same page about a lot of lipsticks, because I remember getting that Play box, and this color was also a no for me! I have a hard time pulling off many lipsticks that lean brown or orange, and this definitely pulled a weird and unflattering burnt orange on me, but it looks great on many other people, like you!

@snoflakefaerie People were upset about this color?? It’s one of my favourites 😂😍 it’s interesting to see how the same shade looks on different people! It was very neutral coral on me🤷🏽‍♀️

After several days of chaos I can finally post the first lippie pic from my cross-country journey. UD in Wrath from the little Urban Vice quad. A nice, relatively soft metallic red but not great staying power.
