100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

My pink fest continues! Tattoo Junky in Semi Sweet. A nice pink shine overall, a slightly sticky finish on application and serious lasting power!

Day 78: Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Lipstick in Girl, Please

I tried out my new Naked Cherry palette for the first time, and the shades I chose were oranger than I expected, so it was difficult to find a lipstick left in my collection to go with it. However, I do think this one worked well. It's not the longest lasting and looked a little patchy, but it was still there after drinking a giant coffee, so I can't complain.

@snoflakefaerie Girl, Please looks great on you.  Strange about Naked Cherry.  I've only used it once but it didn't pull orange on me.

Thanks @sprocketta. To be fair with the Naked Cherry palette, I only used Juicy and Bang Bang, so that could have been the issue. I was afraid to use any darker shades. Used it again today, and my look is much pinker.

@snoflakefaerie, I love orange lids!  Although I also don't have the best lipstick to match it with.  The Smashbox came out well!

Thanks @curlychiquita. I usually like bold colors, and orange goes well with my coloring. However, I had to go to a whole company meeting, so I wasn’t trying to look too intense. That should teach me not to try new palettes in that kind of situation! I think the lipstick ended up balancing it nicely.

I think the colors work well together! Interesting how the naked cherry ends up more orange. The shades look SO pink in the pan

I swear this color looked much darker in the tube! Not really a fan of this formula. I do like the color, but it was a tad sticky, so I might try to top it with gloss next time. If that doesn't help, then declutter you shall go!
