100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

I must investigate these Shiseido lippies further @txcatx. You guys are really selling them! That color is so great!

@txcatx This looks very nice on you.  How's the wear time on it?  I've been hearing good things about these so I'm curious.

@sprocketta This is how the lipstick is looking after both breakfast (yogurt) and lunch (curry, so not too greasy--and no, I didn't eat that at work so I didn't stink up the break room or anything), as well as after my daily giant cup of coffee. The lipstick starts out like a gel, then dries and remains slightly tacky (but honestly, I'd rather have that than a too slippery finish that smears all over my coffee cup and my face). But four hours later, I have a stain that's not tacky at all. And I love this because it's kind of moisturizing--my lips have been chapped due to the seasonal change where it's no longer consistently 100 degrees, but only 85 degrees.

I'm impressed @txcatx  Thanks for the review.  Also your comment about the break room cracked me up because one of my coworkers is really sensitive to smells if I eat at my desk.  I love her dearly but there are a couple items we've agreed I will not eat at my desk, which is annoying.  No beef jerky for me. 😞

I’ve been slacking on posting but not on the challenge. Here are days 8-12 of lipstick. From left to right top down: KVD Roxy, L. U. V. , Starfire, Homegirl and Lottie London Holo gloss

I didn’t realize how much KVD I’ve been using! The Lottie London gloss was a gift from @ClassicallyFab It’s a sheer dark beige with a golden green holo shift. Lovely!!!!!

asting glimmerveil. It’s so much nicer in person. The wear on those is annoying though because about 5 hours in , you start to get glitter migration. Inexplicably!

Lancome Matte Shaker in Red'y in 5. This strange product falls somewhere in between a liquid lipstick and a stain and while I like the color, I really didn't appreciate the fact that by noon my whole face was smeared with this thing. I can't even understand how it came about: I didn't eat or touch my face, but there it was, red streaks all over.

@Krysa13 the colour is crazy stunning on you, what an awesome red. But good to know about the migration! That is my deepest lipstick fear! I am a real face swiper, accidentally swiping past my face on the regular, and I just know I'd have makeout mouth by lunch... dangerous.
