100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Thanks @NotCrocker! I went through a section of my lipstick hoard just to look for a dupe of that CP shade. Turns out I did have one after all! Makes me feel even better about decluttering the ColourPop Ultra Satin shade.

My second day of the challenge, and here's my second lipstick of the day--I rarely get around to wearing bolder lipsticks these days, but I'm off to happy hour and a birthday celebration, so here's Nars Audacious in Charlotte.

It looks great on you @txcatx!  I think it’s also very cool we’ve gotten the chance to see it on three very different skin tones. Talk about helpful! (Besides the fact it looked pretty darn awesome on all three!)

Lovely color as usual ! @RGbrown How does it rank compared to Lancome L'absolu Lacquer since I can't use that formula?

Can't wear Lancome L'Absolu Lacquer? Why? 😱

Velvet Lip Glides are very comfortable, but they don't last nearly as long. They're more of a high-pigment gloss, but they do last a bit longer than most glosses...just not as long as the Lancome. They tend to fade gracefully, and the darker shades may leave a bit of a stain. Overall I recommend them 👍💕

This brought up an interesting question, one I've been meaning to Google for a while. How long does it take a pimple to form? Interesting result, one that will take me a bit to reconcile in my head and skincare routine. 

Soooo...it's probable that the Lancome wasn't the culprit...the pimple was already brewing under the surface. Give it another try!

@RGbrown @Buootiful It might also have been an allergic or “nope, get it off me” reaction. Though in that case, I assume you’d have more than one bump, so it does sound more like a pimple that was just waiting for the right time to show up. 

I’ve never had a lipstick cause pimples, but a couple have caused bad reactions—and those didn’t look like pimples on me.

Hmm, something to think about @WinglessOne @RGbrown . I just havent gotten a "pimple" since the one that scarred my upper lip years ago, so I want to avoid that nightmare again.
