100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Today I am wearing Laura Geller Lasting Love Lip Stain in Pinot Noir. On the left is when it’s first applied and on the right is the stain it leaves behind. It starts as a pinky berry then fades to a fuchsia. Both are a bit brighter than what the photo reflects. I don’t believe these are around anymore... I got it in a QVC kit a couple of years ago. I love it though! Beautiful formula.

@mermadelove another great look! You keep rocking! Your eye makeup is amazing (you wear coloured mascara, right?)  and the lipstick plays so well with it! I thought of buying this lipstick myself but decided I have enough greens 🙂

@Krysa13 you can never have enough blue, green, teal or purple lipstick! 😅💄💋

And yes excellent eye!I often wear colored mascara!In this look I used two, both from Yves St Laurent. I’m the trouble which is cobalt blue, and I’m the storm which is silver glitter. The glitter is on my brows and lower lash line and the cobalt on my top lashes. Often times you can’t really notice POW!COLOR!but the colored lash and brow adds a lot of dimension. Thanks for appreciating my art! 🤗

Thanks @Kim888!!! I actually did two lippies today. After lunch I switched to Coloupop lip balm in adventuriine which is a sheer pale green shimmer. The KVD came off after I ate because work got us pizza for the staff meeting. They figure we will come if there’s good food! Lol

Day 34: ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Be-Dazzled

This color is way out of my comfort zone, and it also felt reallllly drying. I kept thinking I had buildup between my lips because my skin felt so dried out. On top of that it applied super patchy. This might be the first one that I am considering decluttering.
