100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@mermadelove Oh my, your eyes are everything here!  The lipstick goes nicely with them, but man, I can't stop staring at them.

@sprocketta @mermadelove Same here: that metallic (or duochrome?) green is the stuff of dreams. I love this lip and eye combo. The lipstick is still shiny and colorful, but lets your eyes be the star of the show.

Days 29 and 30. For 29, NYX lingerie in 12. A no go that wore off pretty quickly without food or drink. And then Clinique Pop Lipstick in Plum Pop. This was actually pretty nice, prettier than i was expecting based on the promo tube. I'm running out of lipsticks here! Almost done with my stash. Clearly I need to buy more, right?NYX

@sprocketta I do really like that NYX color, what a bummer it didn't last well. I think I only have one NYX lipstick and it's the liquid suede cream formula. I wonder if most of the shades in the line wear like this one.

The Nyx is a great color, too bad about the formula. Its a good "more color than a nude" color on you @sprocketta

@sprocketta, Too bad about the wear time on the NYX Lingerie; I like the color on you! Maybe you can mix a couple of lip shades to create a new lip color for additional days of the challenge?

The NYX lingerie shade is so flattering on you!!  Haha, almost done?? Congrats!!!  You can always start over;). @sprocketta

@heartsmyface It breaks my heart.  Clearly I don't have enough!  I think I have 3 days left.  This has definitely helped me declutter a few I don't love.  I feel like this has been a way to whittle down the collection for some, but just makes me want more.  I love, love, love lippies in all forms.

Hahaha, ´enough’.  The BIC bubble is affecting your perception:  You have plenty especially if you’ve made it this far!!!!  If you happen to have developed lipstick sickness, I’m very sorry, it’s very hard to cure.  If you don’t want a cure cause you’re basking in the colorful glory of tubes of wax then yay!!! 😛 @sprocketta

Day 29 Nars Powermatte lip pigment in Get it On: I bought it from the Ulta Nars multiplier and thought I could mix it with Rock with you to make it ligher, but it never worked. This is the 1st time I put it on by itself. I should have done this sooner, I think I love the brown nudes better than pink nudes. I love this!!Nars powermatte pigment Get It On

Day 30 Woohoo 30-day mark Nars Powermatte lip pigment in Slow ride.  I think I have just under 2 months worth of lipsticks left. Dont know If I should include doing the pencils by themselves, cuz they are all great colors on their own too. Anyway, love this color as I think I don't have to worry about any colors of my clothing clashing with this at all. I didnt want to deal with washing mascara off so I just put some Toofaced natural matte Neutrals in Nudie as a base and Chocolate cookie on the lid to give a little definition. So, this wore out in the middle while eating dim sum but at least I didn't have to re-line the lips, I just put a few taps on to color it in.Nars Powermatte in Slow Ride

Day 31 Nars Powermatte lip pigment in Get Up Stand Up. My favorite out of the entire collection. Enough said 🙂 Cant' wait to wear it with my matching sweater this winter 🙂Nars powermatte in Get Up Stand Up
