100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@snoflakefaerie Peacock is such a unique color.  I’m pleasantly surprised that it survived the beer tasting.

Yeah, I thought it would be long gone after trying so many beers, but it was definitely still there @katkapivarci. I typically shy away from blue or green lipsticks, but I do really like this and it feels more wearable than other shades.

It stayed on through 40+ beers? 🍻 Wow, even with some fading, that’s some lasting power on the BITE lippie @snoflakefaerie!

@snoflakefaerie 40 beers?  Even if they're just a tasting, I would probably be smashed.  Did you hold it together?  I'm just noticing this now, you have really lovely, full lips.  No wonder all these lipsticks look good on you!

@sprocketta I would say it was probably 2-3 beers total, so it wasn't too crazy (over 1.5-2 hours). We ate before going, and they had food there to snack on, so that definitely helped. Though I was making some really silly puns by the end of the tasting, so obviously, I felt it.

My boyfriend also thinks I have full lips, which I'm not so sure about. I have noticed I'm losing the fullness as I age, but I guess enjoy what you have while you got it, right?

@alexasteph not going to lie, it was amazing. I popped in to my local wine + beer shop the other day and found out about it. There were 9 tasting stations that they squeezed in to the shop. Best part is they offered it totally for free!

Day 5: Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow pencil in Apollo. It’s a lip crayon, not a liner pencil. It’s been at least a year since I last wore this one. Lipstick Queen doesn’t make these anymore, but apparently Neiman Marcus has them in stock online—and since I rarely shop there, now I wonder if my local NM has these. (Note to self.) Anyway, I might bring this back into regular rotation. It’s a nice understated ox blood that feels very comfy.

I love the color oxblood but can see how it might be too much for summer. LQ Apollo makes a great understated Oxblood and wears so beautifully on you @WinglessOne!
