Hey there, Beauty Insider Community! I wanted to start a post for all of us to have an ongoing conversation about one of my favorite parts of the beauty scene: Korean beauty (commonly known as “K-beauty” for short 😉)! When I first got into skincare, I was immediately attracted to K-beauty because I was fascinated by the idea of glass skin (a term used often in K-beauty, generally referring to skin that looks so luminous and flawless it could even be made of glass). I also thought that watching people use sheet masks in Korean dramas always looked like so much fun! Nowadays, I’m always on the lookout for good K-beauty finds at Sephora. @ajabanda the products that you named target brightening and moisturizing (the Glow Recipe, the Snail Mucin, the Glamfox). Niacinamide does help some with skin texture, as well. However, none of those products targets acne or blackheads. You probably need to incorporate some sort of chemical exfoliant like salicylic acid (a BHA) to help unclog your pores. There's lots of toners with BHA both in US and Korean skincare. Paula's Choice Mini Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant is a very popular one. Benton, Some by Mi, Beauty of Joseon, and COSRX also make BHA toners. It's a very common and popular ingredient so almost any skincare brand will have a product with it. There are also serums that have BHA. It depends on what you prefer. For your undereyes, you could try Volufiline which is supposed to help build fat under the area where you apply it. I personally haven't tried it but I recently picked one up and it should be coming on my next YesStyle order. You can also look for eye creams with peptides to help keep your skin plump and elastic.

Olive young! If you buy over $60, they have super fast free shipping . Took 2-3 days to arrive to me! It's a Sephora equivalent in Korea. They also have an annual award page you can look at for ideas of what to try out.
