Glow receipe - toner

Hi everyone! I’m buying the Glow receipe - toner. I have a sample size and I love it. However, on the package it says ‘do not forget to use sunscreen after using this toner’. Does anybody know why?

Some actives make your skin more susceptible to damage from the Sun's rays @amyy1109. The actives in Glow Recipes toner, so make sure you wear sunscreen daily while using and for a couple of weeks after if you stop using it to protect your skin. 💛

@amyy1109 the Glow toner has a chemical exfoliator in it which makes your skin more sensitive to the sun.
