Best routine/brand/products for a teen?

I’ve been researching recently about Korean skincare & makeup, and I’m struggling a little to find a cleansing oil as well as a few basic skincare products. I have very sensitive skin, and I’d like to use products directed towards younger people without any intense ingredients. Any recommendations? ❤️

Re: Best routine/brand/products for a teen?

Hi @LilsFlower I have sensitive, dry skin. Softymo Speedy Cleansing oil is really great. It’s technically JBeauty, but I’ve seen it at many Asian beauty shops along side Kbeauty products. It does a good job of melting down makeup and sunscreen. If you also need a cleanser, COSRX Good Morning cleanser is what I’m currently using and it doesn’t irritate my skin.

@itsfi Already mentioned Etude Soon Jung lineup. Everything in there is great and sensitive skin friendly. Their 2x intensive barrier cream is a great moisturizer for dry, sensitive skin. If you live in a dry climate or are just really dry in general, their Cica balm is good on top to seal everything in. If you want something underneath your moisturizer to help draw moisturize back into your skin, HadoLabo GokuJyun lotion is amazing. Also technically JBeauty, but it’s so refreshing after cleansing.

Hi there @LilsFlower! If you're looking strictly for Korean skincare, here are some products that may be of interest to you -

Overall Line: Etude House SoonJung line is excellent for sensitive skin. I don't believe they have a cleansing oil, but they do have whip cleanser that is nice, not stripping or drying. Other good Kbeauty brands for sensitive skin is make p:rem or Pyunkang Yul.

Cleansing Oil:

  • Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil
  • innisfree Green Tea Hydrating Cleansing Oil 5.07 oz / 150 mL - good for hydration
  • Nature Republic Forest Garden Cleansing Oil, Chamomile

Moisturizer

  • CosRx Full Fit Propolis Light Cream
  • Oily: belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb Hydrating Moisturizer With Squalane 3.3 oz / 100 mL
  • Combination: LANEIGE Mini Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer .67 oz/ 20 mL or innisfree Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Moisturizer 1.7 oz / 50 mL
  • Dry: belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb With Oat Husk and Vitamin B
  • Very Dry: Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin™ Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream 1.7 oz / 50 mL

Sunblock:

  • Etude House Sunprise SPF50+/PA+++ - the brand also carries a Sunprise Airy SPF50+/PA+++ that is also nice. The latter has a thinner consistency.
  • make p:rem UV Defense Me Blue Ray Sun Fluid
