Acne scars

Spoiler

Hey I’m new here. What do you guys recommend for acne scars?

Re: Acne scars

I am 32 years old and i have old acne scars from when I was a teen. If you have deep/old acne scars (ice pick, boxcar or rolling) chances are products won't work. Products might help to fade or reduce appearance, but at that stage/level, you will need to visit a dermatologist to get treatment. I have spent so much money in my 20s trying to find Holy grail products, but they've never worked for me. Only by seeing a derm and getting their opinion and treatment is how I've helped my scars. Yes, there might be a waiting list to see a dermatologist. Yes, it is expensive. No, insurance most likely won't cover the cost. But it is worth it.

What type of scars, @nxxr1234 - discolorations or textural? What's your skin type? What products are you currently using in your routine?
