I also eagerly purchased this advent calendar only to find absolute junk in it! The point value is worth $100 and this is NOT anywhere close to a $100 value. What a complete waste of points!! Such crap!

No, seriously. Its ridiculous. It's full of sephora insider branded tools that are poorly manufactured- loose threads, dents, smooth plastic is warbled and wavy, parts that are glued together are crooked, off-center, or ill fitting. Theres only one item that could loosely be considered makeup. The other 24 days are tools. They even split up a pair of tools to fill two seperate days, lol. I didnt expect much, but this is far worse than I ever imagined, and definitely not as advertised. "Makeup, skincare, and tools"- nope, no actual makeup or skincare- just tools for makeup and skincare. "Not sephora brand"- every item is branded with sephora.

I really like the glow recipe pink juice one for combo skin bc I have combo skin and I use it and love it. If you want something for mainly dry skin I would recommend the drunk elephant lala retro. Even though it’s pricey it is great for dry skin with the really thick texture it has. I hope that helps!
