Hello BIC! This is the official thread for the brand new - exclusive to Sephora - makeup line GXVE by Gwen Stefani. This thread is a dedicated place for gratis recipients to share their feedback, unboxings, and swatches for the incoming GXVE by Gwen Stefani products.  Let's get B-A-N-A-N-A-S and dive right in!

Founded by Gwen to share her love of beauty the line is inspired by bold clean colors and elevated classics that are loved and worn by her everyday. I love the fact that everything offered in the line is Clean Beauty certified, Vegan, cruelty free, stage worn and tested before being approved by Gwen as Hella Good.

Aww thanks sweet @blackkitty2014 ! 😘 She really is. I had read she wouldn’t give out what color she used to wear ! Maybe that’s why she calls these “original recipe”?! Plus her new country roots w Blake S?! 😂

Love the swatches @Sunnysmom .  I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I do not often rock a red lip... when I do I want it to be blue based.  I quite like the look of your swatches, both the bright red and the cool toned browns.

Me too @missjeanie . I usually go for nudes/ light pinks. The GXVE reds do look beautiful though❤️

@missjeanie you could always sheer it out with just a dab of the lipstick and topping it with a gloss. It can give you more of a rose color than a bright bold red - just a thought if reds aren't your thing 😺. I used to not be a fan of/was intimidated by red lippies until I tried TOM FORD Lip Color Lipstick 16 Scarlet Rouge . I think the trick is just finding that right red that works for you and blue based reds like the ones Gwen released are my fav. I hope it works out for you!

That’s a great idea @niki172 ! Since I’m not wearing lipsticks as often I bet it would look great like that, or even blotted down to more of a stain.

Ha. Same. I haven’t had a red lip in years like 2013!? Mac red days and then recently I don’t know what came over me but i ordered Le dragon and fell in love. Wore it with affair liner and later ordered cinnabar to make it a rusty and bit deeper shade.

I get it @missjeanie. When I was much younger I only wore very light gloss! Lol how that’s changed. It’s been all I’ve worn for 1000 years! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Agree with @Saradestin , think you either love or you don’t!

@Saradestin @Sunnysmom I'm gonna give it a good go!  I dig the 'pin up' look so I think it'll force me out of my comfort zone of berry's and mauves, and yes... lol tinted balms and glosses!  I'm excited to try it, especially because it's not something I'd try on my own.  Who knows... maybe I'll turn into a red lover and need to buy a whole selection!

Lol, I kept one mini I had received from a gratis when I did a bit of a declutter in the last few years. My neices were happy to play with the discards. @Saradestin Do you have one tried and true favourite red?

@missjeanie I prefer blue reds but I love red lipsticks so much that I can’t choose a favorite! I have them in cream, gloss, matte, liquid, metallic, glitter..... all finishes imaginable and cool, warm, lighter, darker... Going over this I am realizing that I have a red lipstick obsession! 🙈🙈🙈 One day I may swatch them all 🤔

They’re beauts @Saradestin ! I know they will be stunning on you! The smell/taste is interesting I should add. Kind of coconut vanilla maybe?! That’s what I get. Not my fav but not enough to put me off either. 🙂
