I also used the COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer 6.5 oz / 195 ml #  again - this time with heat styling using the Dyson Airwrap™ Multi-Styler Complete Long .  I posted a previous review of using this on just airdried hair you can see below.

I applied the COLOR WOW as directed: 2-3 pumps to about 6 sections of my towel-dried hair each, and then added a few more pumps to the roots. It was almost airdried by the time I got around to styling.

Anyway, I like that this gave a noticeable volume boost to both roots and throughout lengths of my hair, without feeling at all sticky or rough.

I also used the Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong Finish 10 oz/ 330 mL and it was a very fine mist, smelled great and seemed to give a nice non-stiff hold to waves in place. This style has held up nicely for another 3 days and my hair didn't get greasy or feel tangly & rough at all.  Thanks again to @TeamBIC for the summer gratis box and some awesome products!

Still working my way through some reviews! Like others have posted, I've been a huge fan of the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Refillable Hydrating Hair Oil in the past and am equally loving the new formula. TBH, I don't notice a big difference from the old one and still have most of an old bottle. It's nice that the new one is refillable and I had already bought the travel size of the new oil since I don't want to without it. It still smells absolutely amazing. I don't notice the scent long after but applying but it's such a nice experience when I am using it.  

I love that I can use this everyday and it never weighs hair down or affects my hair style, and it adds some hydration, smoothness and shine. I usually use this at night and 1-2x throughout the day if I need some shine and help detangling (especially in the back where my long hair tends to get tangly) or taming frizz. Here I used it to smooth out some frizz on a Day 2 style.

I have finally used all of my hair goodies and here are my reviews.

Kérastase Elixir Ultime Refillable Hydrating Hair Oil 

This is a long time love! My hair looks so much healthier when I use it consistently. I use it overnight, as a deep oil treatment, as a detangler on wet hair, and sometimes to tame any frizz or flyaways. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream Original 

This is unfortunately too heavy for my hair. I tried it multiple ways and it added too much weight to my hair. The scent is nice but I’ll definitely be giving it to someone with thicker hair. ⭐️⭐️

amika Rising Star Volumizing Finishing Spray 5.3 oz / 165 mL  I’m not a big fan of the scent but otherwise this was a good product for me. It gives a bit of volume and hold and doesn’t feel sticky or stiff. It’s not something I would reach for often so I wouldn’t purchase it on my own.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong Finish 10 oz/ 330 mL  I really like this hairspray. I feel like it’s more of a medium instead of strong hold. It doesn’t feel stiff or crunchy and it lasts really well for me. I’m not a huge fan of the scent but it fades pretty fast so it’s not a dealbreaker.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Briogeo Style + Treat™ Hair Styling Sleek Stick 0.5 oz / 15 g 

This is great for taming frizz and flyaways. I don’t ever wear my hair in a sleek style so it’s not something I would purchase on my own.

COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer 

I definitely notice some volume from this. I like that it doesn’t make my hair feel stiff or sticky. I’ve used several items from the colorwow volume line and I prefer the COLOR WOW Dream Cocktail Carb-Infused Thickening Leave In Treatment 6.7 oz/ 200 mL over this one but it is better than the COLOR WOW Raise the Root Thicken and Lift Spray 5 oz/ 150 mL which is super sticky.

I’ve finally used my products enough to review!

I've always loved the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Refillable Hydrating Hair Oil, I think I’m in my 10th or 11th bottle of the oil in the old packaging. It’s expensive but you get a lot, much more than the tiny Olaplex and other brand of oils. I have very thick, curly, dry hair and use if when I put it in a ponytail or when it feels extra dry. I’m very happy to have a refillable version.

I really like the dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream Original. It makes a very nice leave-in, just as nice as my #L’Oreal curl cream. Neither has much hold, but I always need a nice leave in or curl cream under my curl gel to keep my curls in place, especially in humidity (which was 75% yesterday).

The Briogeo Style + Treat™ Yuzu + Plum Oil Hair Styling Sleek Stick 0.5 oz / 15g is ok. I used it on some fly-aways, but may be better if I wear my hair in a bun, which I don’t do that often.  

I realized I would never use the COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer, amika Rising Star Volumizing Finishing Spray 5.3 oz / 165 mL, and Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong Finish 10 oz/ 330 mL. They’re just not for my hair type. I donated these to a charity for young mothers.
