@Ispend2much6  thank you! I do get some waves if I braid it wet and let it dry that way, but they never stay long. I am going to try the Moroccanoil hairspray today after I take the braid out, and see if that and the Dae help the waves to stay longer. I will report back!

Also - that is so funny to me! I know I would love to have some waves or even curls in my perpetually straight hair, but I'm not sure I'm desperate enough to resort to using pasta 🤣 the things people come up with...🙄

Voila!  The rigatoni wave.  Courtesy of Tik Tok.  Since my layers are long, I may have to use cannelloni next time. 😂

Hair dampened slightly with water and sprayed with #Colorwow raise the root. Didn't notice any pasta scent, to be honest.Rigatoni left in for 1.5 hours, then fluffed with finger. I still have waves, with no hair spray used, three hours later. The layers I rolled are long, so the waves are pretty curly considering their length.

@Titian06  Multi-tasking products save money, right? lol  I am seriously wondering if I can have those long, old-fashioned horizontal waves if I use cannelloni next time.  I mean, curling hair with no heat and no bristles to pull out the hair does sound enticing.

@Ispend2much6 Did you use actual rigatoni!?! I thought it might have been the way you clippee your hair? This technique gave you a lovely wave!!

@Mellmars1185  Yes, I sure did!  But you do have to dampen the hair first, then use a texturizing spray.

@caitbird   They do actually look pretty good!  It would be an expensive way to curl my hair though.  But no heat required, so more gentle on my hair!

Lol (also wanted to mention that yes WA Ma Biche shade is a bit on the warm side tho the stain left on me looks cooler leaning. But it’s got some warmth to it vs cool fyi 🙂.
