Looks like we are all on the same page and tried the COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer !

My experience and takeaways are:

• I didn’t detect a scent, which I was okay with. I do like scented hair products but certainly not a deal breaker 
• the mousse is very lightweight. As someone with fine hair, mousse is very intimidating. I have flashbacks of high school with all the over moussed, crunchy hairstyles. This definitely did not do any of that!
• I applied the product to freshly washed hair in sections as instructed, then I blow dried my hair. I didn’t apply any other products or do any heat styling, and this is what we’re working with! 

 

 overall thoughts

• my hair felt more voluminous and noticeably shiny
• the effects lasted well into the next day
• i didn’t detect any crunchiness, heaviness or greasiness 

that being said, I am very very loyal to my JVN Complete Blowout Styling Milk 3 oz / 90 mL and COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray Anti-Frizz Treatment for when I blow dry my hair. While I like this product, I don’t think I’ll stray from

those. However, it did indicate that this product works on air-dried hair as well, which my HG blowout products definitely don’t. I’ll be trying the Bombshell Volumizer on air-dried hair next!!

@cianni Your hair looks great! How did you find it lasted after a day or so? I am always wondering if mousse adds extra time between washes. I definitely need more practice with mousse, so I appreciate this!

@PrettyPaint Thank you!! Volume is definitely something I was unsure I would ever see again with the postpartum hair loss, but were taking a “fake it (with products) till you make it” approach 😅

@CynthieLu Ahh thank you! I used to have such curly hair, then it went wavy, then it went pretty flat. I’m trying to re-establish a wave pattern, so I’m happy that you can see some definition to them!
