Spoiler

The Rewards Bazaar is supposed to have new point perks released on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 am and 5pm PST

  • There is no set time for the perks to be released - we have to wait and see when they become available between 9 and 5
    • However, so far the rewards have been released around 9 am PST
  • There seem to be only a few perks added at a time (each day)
  • Some perks will be listed as "coming soon" and may arrive on a later date
  • The newly added perks will range from 100 points to 50,000 points
    • Sephora's T&C state that the larger perks (750 points +) are only available online
    • The smaller 100-500 point perks are available in store, while supplies last
  • There are limited quantities of the perks available
  • We aren't sure why the rewards seem to appear on different devices/browsers at different times

There may not be any "big" point perks added. Some days we may only see smaller 100, 250, or 500 point perks added.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Wow @pinyo that sucks. I called the rouge line and the rep I spoke to offered me points and I didn't ask for them. If it makes it any better, she only gave me 200 points. It may have been because I started the call about a separate issue. A sample from my play box was defective so she gave me points for that. Even in that situation I think everyone should get points back because she said it was defective and affected most play subscribers but I had to call to complain about it.

Then I mentioned this reward and she looked it up and offered me some points back. Maybe I got a point sprinkling fairy rep yesterday lol. I really just want to know when it's coming and for it to actually arrive.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

This looks like an awesome reward.  However, it looks like the classes are free anyway.  At least they're listed on Bandier's MindBody as being a free Clarins promotional class.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Good eye! That definitely changes the value of the reward to me.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Actually, I didn't realize this was 4,500 points.  I find it aggravating and dishonest that they'd try to pass off something that's free anyway as having an $140 value.

Anyway, for people in New York.  Here's the link to sign up for the free Clarin's class.  I can't confirm that it's free--there may be other restrictions when you try to sign up (I don't live in NY, so there's no point in my signing up).  My experience with these type of promotional things is that they often give you free swag at the event too.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

This seems like a fun event, but I don't have 10 friends who love makeup enough to travel several states away for a single class. Smiley Sad It would be cool if they had an option that included a smaller class but promo bags from MUFE with some products.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

That's how I feel. You should at least get some of the products that you are using during the class.. For 5000 points, I don't think it's worth it. And exactly, who has 10 friends that they want to take to a makeup class? I have maybe 3-4.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Agreed. It's just a glorified Sephora makeover session (that Rouges get for free anyway) with MUFE artists.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

I just don't understand how they determine the value. The Bite Beauty Lab reward was only 3,500 points and I feel like it was 10 times better than this. Honestly wishing I would have snagged it at this point. But let's just hope for better rewards for April Smiley Happy

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Seems to usually be a 10% cash value. So items that are 1000 points had a value about $100 give or take. Obviously not including valuation of limited edition status etc

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

It used to be closer to 10% but now I feel like it is less. My TF Sunnies reward cost me 1000 pts but the sunnies were $55 and two deluxe sample bronzer and a mini brush don't come out to $45 in product.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Ok, it's not just me?  Phew!  I thought I was the only one who doesn't have 10 friends.  XD

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

I actually prefer the points to getting money back, because there definitely seems that there could be some amazing experiences/things you can get that are a nice bonus. However, the execution is a mess. I called about my too faced sweet peach reward because it was a week past due the original date it should have been delivered (the 3-4 week timeline). The guy on the phone basically says sorry for the delay and offers nothing like others have gotten points back and then says it will be shipped on Monday. Well, the next day I get an email that says it will ship April 11. So I send an email to Sephora and get this response back:

We apologize that you are yet to receive the item you redeemed. At this time,we advise you contact the brand TOO FACED to know why there is a delay in the delivery of this item.

I'm sorry, but I redeemed this award through Sephora not Too Faced. That is a disastrous customer service response.

I'm trying not to be petty about this, but it's really annoying the some people get all their points back over trivial things (this is probably a trivial thing too haha) and others get told so sad too bad

I really feel like this program has so much promise and I want to give it the benefit of the doubt, but this is trying my patience. I also feel like Sephora's customer service has gone down lately, because I asked about a palette condition that I bought that had eyeshadow spots on the front and on the inside (the ABH MR palette) and they were like basically linked the palette when I asked if this is normal and whether I should return it. It's like the CS people don't even know what makeup they are selling. What?

What's going on Sephora? I used to love the customer service I received.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Ugh I am SO sorry about that!

I called them to ask about my Too Faced Peach reward and they customer service rep told me it had been delivered in February. Then when I explained that that package was just the confirmation he told me to call the 'special customer service' line which ended up being the beauty hotline for VIBR.

Turns out after my 4th phone call I got the accurate update that it would be shipped at the end of March (which was later updated through email to April 11) and then she apologized that someone told me it had already been delivered.

I really love Sephora but there seems to be a big drop in customer relations and satisfaction. I've noticed it online and in stores. It's really frustrating.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

So frustrating!  Today has been like the day of bad customer service.  What happened to the time when sephora really went out of their way to make customers feel valued and appreciated?  Smiley Sad

Spoiler
If you want to feel better, we are switching phone / internet companies right now, and they came last friday to hook everything up.  It took them >5 hours, and when they left, we realized that only ONE of our phones was working.  So I called them today, and they told me that they are only responsible for making sure one phone works, no more.  Really?  Because they were ALL working before you came...  Ugh!

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Phone/internet companies (im looking at you Comcast are the worst)!

I'm over my pettiness. I just wish that Sephora was more consistent in how they treat people. If they give out points, they should give them out to everyone it affected and the same amount. If they give one customer samples then they should give another the same.

But, hey, I guess I was never promised they'd be fair haha

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

Uggg to Comcast- thi sis one of the worst Ive encountered.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar

That's really frustrating and not an answer you should have been given. I love shopping at Sephora (obviously) but I think this program is a mess and they've had more than enough time to iron out the wrinkles at this point. I hope they make this right for you. You spent a lot of money and were a loyal customer to accumulate those points.
