Holiday Greetings to the lovely people of BIC whichever holiday you celebrate! 

As many of you are aware, @TeamBIC has this naughty little habit of turning into a bunch of festive elves and spoiling a random number of active BIC community contributors with a surprise holiday treat come this time of year!  Yeah the imagery is there of TeamBIC in pointy green hats making the magic happen while sipping on hot cocoa.

I’m sure all of you are eager to see what they’ve been up to this season!  I know I am!  They never fail to impress me with their creative box designs (my inner cat loves the boxes as much as the contents) Of course the contents are always wonderful too;);)

This thread is for expressing your community excitement, making wild or educated sleuthed-out guesses as to what could be inside  and for sharing with the community, photos of any gifts you receive, and also for congratulating other community members on their awesome luck and for making BIC the beauty haven it is!   

And once people have had a chance to try out their…ahhhh thé suspense is too much!!!😝, this is a great place to both write and read the best quality product reviews!  It doesn’t get more honest than from the mouths of BIC members you talk to everyday and who know exactly what kind of information you like!  It’s also a great place to ask questions on any products members have received and know you’ll get a speedy response!

Speaking of gratis that works for me, I have been wearing the Kilian Apple Brandy fragrance from last year all week!!!  A continuous thank you to @TeamBIC for every single time I smell like spicy mince meat tarts🥰🥰🥰🥧

Also, I heard someone say today they finished their holiday shopping.  Show of hands, who’s finished or, ahem… started their holiday shopping?  😆✋🏻 I started and am nowhere near finished status; as collected and organized as that would be.

It took me awhile to find my balance with k18, how much to use, if I need extra conditioning agents after etc.. but once I found my balance it was just what my fried hair needed.  Now I only use it when my hair needs a boost 🚀

Good to know @CynthieLu I found the same with olaplex products.  I think some of these newer formula masks are great once you do find that perfect method though!

Hey all!  I made a huge mess out of my hair this morning!  I haven't blown dry my hair in maybe 20 years???  After washing with my regular shampoo, I used my second dose of the K18 mask.  After 4 or 5 minutes, I used one pump of JVN Complete Blowout Styling Milk 3 oz / 90 mL and the used the Drybar Buttercup Blow-Dryer on the half fan and middle heat settings.  It took about 2 minutes to dry my fine, thin, wavy, curly hair.  I now have very poofy, frizzy hair!  It looks worse than when I get up in the morning.  So I tried the Moroccanoil Moroccanoil Treatment Hair Oil to try to tame the frizzies.  What a surprise, at least with the first pump, it didn't smell!  The #Moroccanoil Mini Moroccanoil Treatment Light 0.85 oz/ 25 mL absolutely stinks!  So I was expecting the worst.

I don't know what I did wrong.  I'm not sure what the JVN product is for as the blow dryer isn't nearly as hot as hair dryers on the low settings were in the 70s and 80s.  I'll continue to use the Moroccanoil as long as it doesn't smell.

@Titian06 Sorry to hear about your hair turning out worse than when you get up in the morning. I don't know if this will help but it took me a long time to get a hang of blow drying. I started off by using a clip to section off the part i want to blow dry. I feel like using some type of round brush helps create tension to hold the hair in place to reduce frizz. Thanks for sharing ! 🥰

Oh no @Titian06 ! 😅 I am not even trying to blow dry my hair because it would be a complete disaster. Once I knew what the gift was, I looked for the corresponding hair diffuser to use on my wavy/curly hair and Drybar The Bouncer Diffuser is on its way. 

I am sure that you will find the way to make all the products work for you!

You may need to purchase a separate diffuser for the blow dryer such as Drybar The Bouncer Diffuser . This will encourage your wave/curl pattern @Titian06 .

@Titian06 that sounds like a bevy of hair adventures all at once and wow, do I feel you. Your hair went through a lot!  It is kind of like an elimination diet at this point, trying to figure out what works and what is causing more problems than it is worth.

Glad I never tried the Light version of the oil, though 🤣
