Return and Re Buy

So I bought the Natasha Denona Tropic Palette less than 60 days ago at full price. I already know that I can return it based on talking to the store. My question is though with it on sale now, can I return it and then buy it again to have it be way cheaper? Would I get in trouble or would I just get a death stare from the employee? Thank you lovelies!!!

Buy a new one at the sale price, then return it with your old receipt. There's no need to force Sephora to damage out your old used one...at least give them one back that's still pristine.

I don’t think it’s a problem if you returned it then ordered the same one online or bought it at a different store. It’ll be kinda weird and I don’t know if Sephora still sells the one you returned etc kinda deal. As much as it’s unfortunate to have just missed the sale by a few weeks or so, if you’re product has noticeable use to it then they can give you a deathstare, black list so on so forth but for light usage, i don’t feel there is an issue.
