If I become a VIB will I always be one?

Hey everyone I am very close to finally becoming a VIB this year and I was wondering if once I become a VIB member I will always be one even if one year I don't spend $350-$999?

Hi @JuliaM14, no your status resets every year if you don't maintain the particular spending level in the year previous. So, if you spent $350 in 2017, you will maintain VIB through the end of 2017 and all of 2018. If you fail to spend $350 in 2018, your VIB status will expire on December 31st 2018 and you will be a BI level again.

No, your VIB status won't remain forever. If you reach VIB in 2017, you'll be VIB for the rest of 2017 plus 2018. So your VIB status will expire on December 31, 2018.

However, if you spend an additional $350 in 2018 (calendar year) then your VIB status will renew. Otherwise, it will expire.

If you spend $1,000 in a calendar year then you will reach Rouge.
