i think you can just go in store and ask nicely. ive had friends go in after the two week window and were still able to pick their birthday gift before 🙂

In the past, there was one time, I had to get my gift a month or so later because my store was out and I didnt have any problems.

You shouldn't have an issue , I've heard of people getting them months after their birthday .
