A Message to our Clients about Epic Rewards

 

Sephora is committed to offering our valued Beauty Insiders exceptional rewards to thank them for their loyalty and for being part of our community.  Yesterday we held an Epic Rewards promotion, and while we have held similar promotions in the past, yesterday’s promotion was the largest number of Epic Rewards we have made available to date.

 

Despite our best efforts to predict the response, demand was overwhelming, resulting in our being out of stock very quickly. We deeply regret this and apologize to our Beauty Insider clients who did not get a chance to participate.  

 

At Sephora our first and foremost priority is to give our clients an exciting and fulfilling shopping experience.  Those Beauty Insiders who were unable to get one of our limited quantity Epic Rewards, please email us by Tuesday, August 25, 2015, to epicrewards@sephora.com and include your Beauty Insider account number or email address associated with your account. 

 

Beyond that, please know that we are committed to learning from this experience. Thank you for your ongoing support. We greatly appreciate you.

I just received my email response!  I can't figure out how to post it here but they are offering a $50 promo code with no minimum purchase.  I don't know if they are offering it to everyone or if it is just people who emailed or to people with over 1000 points.  If anyone can tell me how to post the email they sent I will post it!  Duh I had a brain gas lol here is the email they sent.  I blacked out the code because I don't know if they are sending everyone a different code or if it will just be one code.

I actually think it's extremely generous. Wasn't expecting this at all. Just hope Canadians get something as well, as they were part of this too.

 

More important, I hope Sephora learn from this, to never (ever) mix the points multiplier with the rewards, as some people get overboard buying hoping for a reward.

Yes Gizeh! Point multiplier right before epic rewards is like saying hurry stash up so you can not get a reward because we won't tell you when it's happening and even if you find out you probably won't get one cuz there's not many.

 

That said, way to step up Sephora. Hopefully:

A. This doesn't cut into the $20 off $50 that usually happens in december and 

B. People don't abuse this by going to sign up for multiple accounts and then complaining to get $50 on each one. 

 

I hate to give people ideas with B. but I'm a pessimist. Hopefully Sephora has something in place, like you had to at least be a BI when epic rewards happened, to avoid those B. type of people.

I don't think you can email them now anyways, the deadline with the 25th of August, which has passed. So, there can't be any 'B' types of people.....

Relax!  You needed at least 1,000 points to qualify for Epic, so 'choice B' makes no sense.  Lol!

I'm guessing that they asked for peoples BI Account info to confirm they had over 1,000 points, which would confirm they were eligible to redeem the Epic rewards in the first place - or at least I hope that's what they did 🙂
