dry skin and large pores

I want to use something natural. I have dry skin with enlarged pores. Is there something to help the dry skin AND help reduce the size/appearance of pores?

Hi powder123. I've recommended two products below to not only help reduce the pore size but also balance your skin gently exfoliating the dry skin and keeping it hydrated throughout the day in any weather condition.

Perricone MD Intensive Pore Minimizer - http://bit.ly/aL2vCD

This product can be applied with a cotton pad once or twice a day after cleansing. Delicate exfoliation resurfaces skin and normalizes oil while Alpha Lipoic Acid improves resilience, tone, and texture. A dose of DMAE counters loss of elasticity while minimizing the appearance of enlarged pores. Salicylic acid removes dead skin cells, dirt, and oil that can clog and stretch pores. A proprietary mineral complex imparts tighter, smoother, more vibrant skin without drying your skin.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream - http://bit.ly/bVFH1e

This cream is for anyone with severely dry, scaly skin due to harsh winter weather, aggressive cosmetic treatments, or any of the following conditions: atopic dermatitis, irritant eczema, allergic eczema, and keratosis pilaris. With the help of colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, soothing eucalyptus oil, and ceramides, Ultra Repair Cream provides immediate relief and visible improvement for distressed skin.

Hope this works! Smiley Happy

You may want to try DERMAdoctor Physical Chemistry.  Exfoliating properties retexturize dull, dry, or blotchy complexions while minimizing the appearance of fine lines, ultraviolet damage, post-acne discoloration, enlarged pores, and facial keratosis pilaris (surface bumpiness). Smoother, vibrant, younger-looking skin is revealed.  You can find it at:  http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P168201&categoryId=B70

I hope this helps you. Smiley Happy

I have combination skin...dry areas and a slightly oily T-zone.  My skin is very sensitive, and prone to breakouts if I am not careful.  I had enlarged pores on either side on my nose that drove me nuts.  I found that using Ole Henriksen Walnut Complexion Scrub and Firm Action Mask made a huge difference!  I use the complexion scrub at night after I remove my makeup, and the mask a couple of times a week.  My pores are definitely not as visible...and my skin is very soft too.  Hope that helps!

Re: dry skin and large pores

Hi, Danusiam!

This thread was originally from 2011, while you may share the same inquiry, you may want to begin your own thread so you can give specific details regarding your skin, what you current regimen may consist of, and what you're trying to accomplish via skin care or makeup so users can reply directly rather than infringe on another user's older inquiry.

Feel free to divulge more (such as your AM/PM regimen, if you have any preferences or sensitivities to brands or ingredients) if you don't prefer to create a thread, but for more direct contact and responses so users can see that it's your inquiry versus the original poster's, a new thread may be more fruitful in generating responses.

Re: dry skin and large pores

I have really visible pores and always felt self conscious about it. i found most companies and products didn't really do much for it, and i have combo skin. so very oil and then very dry and its hard to find something to clean my skin properly but not overdry it.

I started using ATPcoffee coffee scrubs because theyre local (im in Toronto) and use all natural, organic ingredients and its my new fave. it exfoliates like nothing else i've tried but their coconut and coffee one leaves me moisturized too because of the coco oil. its actually unreal
