Tatcha

Is Tatcha considered good or bad? I know a dermatologist told me the less ingredients the better, but I hear so many good things about their products? Can someone explain to me the ingredients and the pros and cons.

Re: Tatcha

Tatcha is a product I avoid for a number of reasons mainly:

-Butylene Glycol, a paraben - which can be a hormone disruptor

- Fragrance - a pthalate - have been known to potentially damage certain organ structures, *note that they tend to use fragrance and not "fragrance* *from naturally derived XYZ

-Phenoxyethanol: a preservative derived from phenols, i.e. coal tar. These are also toxic.

Many of Tatcha's products contain these ingredients and thus should really be removed or reconsidered to be in Sephora's "clean" line.

However:

-Biossance (*I adore this brand)

-Herbivore

-Farmacy

seem to be pretty solid brands. There are many lists out there regarding lists of beauty ingredients to avoid, whereafter you can do your own digging to see which ingredients seem like hype or which you agree with.

Hope this helps!
