After Yoga Makeup

Hello Beauties!

So I'm kinda turning into one of those women who do yoga and then run around town.  I am looking for a quick and easy makeup palette that I can take with me to freshen my look after hot yoga.  Don't worry~  I'm freshening my face, cleaning up a bit, but don't want to lug a whole bunch of makeup to the studio.  Something fun like Benefit used to have.  I'm guessing a CC or concealer, basic eye color, maybe some multi-use tinting in case.

I'm a fifty something and although I fully believe that beauty happens at all ages, I'm obviously not looking for glitter or trendy looks.  Something pretty and natural

I do care about cruelty free products. (You probably guessed, right?)

Re: After Yoga Makeup

Ulta carries a brand Woosh that has a Fold Out Face all in 1 palette that has eyeshadow, concealer, blush and powder. I'm just not sure if they are cruelty free.

Pixi, Pop Beauty, Kat Von  D, and tarte all make small 4-6 shadows basic eyeshadow palettes that vary in quality and expense. Some come with applicators as well.

Lorac, Stila, and Pur all have relatively compact eye and cheek palettes. All the above brands are cruelty free.

I would probably opt for a combo eye and cheek palette and pick up a concealer stick. Or find a versatile eye shadow palette and get blush and concealer in stick form. I also enjoy the Bite multisticks, but have found it hard to find one that works on eyes, cheeks and lips on my skintone. You may also look into the Urban Decay Shapeshifter skin palette. Depending on your eyeshadow needs, it may work for both eyes and face.

Re: After Yoga Makeup

Now is a great time of year to get something because all of the Christmas collections just came out. Last year I got the tarte collection. The box is much bulkier than it needs to be but it included a ton of eye shadows, blush, highlighter, bronzer, contour powder, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. Even though it's big I love it for travel because it's all in one.

Hi @bg921!

My top choice isn't available at Sephora, but I'd recommend something along the lines of Charlotte Tilbury's Instant Look in a Palette. There are 3 shade variations, each comes with 1 highlighter, 1 bronzer, 2 blush shades, and 3 eyeshadow shades. They're really great for travelling or for throwing in a gym bag 🙂 There are just enough shades to be versatile, and I like that they also stick with fairly natural tones so that you can look pulled together in a pinch.

If you like a tinted moisturizer, I also like Charlotte Tilbury's Unisex Healthy Glow Moisturizer. It definitely adds a bit of a tan/sun-kissed look (which is tricky since I'm pale) but I find it blurs any imperfections wonderfully.

Alternatively, Burberry puts out some nice mini boxes every so often - usually with a blush or eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick and face product (typically the Fresh glow)

If you like cream products, RMS Beauty has some mini sets in palette form for a very natural, fresh faced look - includes luminizers (which could easily work as a cream eyeshadow/highlight), lip and skin balm, tinted lip and cheek cream.

I also like the Uncover Up from RMS which I use a concealer or foundation -

Lastly, perhaps some products from Wander Beauty which are intended to be used on the go? They have many items, but a set like this might just give you what you need:

Or possibly even a Multistick from Bite Beauty - designed to work on your eyes, cheeks, and lips - if you don't mind a more monochramatic look. Or you could get a couple and mix and match.

Re: After Yoga Makeup

@bg921 sorry! I should add - I've heard that Charlotte Tilbury is cruelty free, likewise with Bite Beauty, Wander Beauty, and RMS Beauty.
