Help with liquid highlighters!!

I love the cover fx enhancer drops, but every time I try to apply it on my face, it lifts my foundation and makes my face look really patchy. : ( What's the best way to use this product?

Hi there! 

I moisturizer my skin 2x. I mix the drops with my foundation. Then I use the drops as my liquid highlight, blend out with the BB then set it with a powder highlight.

When I use the FX highlighter I put a little on the back of my hand and then I use my fingertip to tap it on the high points of my cheeks and nose tell it's blended you don't need a whole lot of this highlighter at all that seems to help with keeping my foundation in place I hope that helps because it's an awesome highlighter
