My incredible Mother-in-law gave me a generous monetary gift for Mother’s Day and I knew immediately what I was going to do with it. The Violette_Fr line has intrigued me and was on my Wish List for post no-buy. Thanks to her, these have found a new home much sooner than expected!

The Boum-Boum Milk is a 3-in-1 toner, serum & moisturizer all in one with “Birch Sap, Glacier Water, Olive Leaf Extract.” It looks and feels exactly how I would expect given the name, and without being oily. The spray nozzle is pretty standard, emitting a concentrated amount, rather than a fine mist. I didn’t notice much of a scent, and it absorbs quickly, leaving a only very slightly tacky texture behind. I haven’t tried it on my face yet, this was just on my arm.

The Baume Shine is a complexion/universal highlighter. It is very subtle, I think I am going to love this one!

The  Avec Amour perfume oil is described as, “sensual, yet earthy, blending musky amber, santal, and vetiver base notes with ylang-ylang middle notes and uplifting bergamot top notes.” To me, it is very  ‘fresh Play-Doh.’ Of course it is deeper than that, the vetiver is extremely subtle and it is a nice blend with the bergamot. It lasts and lasts, which is highly unusual on my skin. The bottle itself is quite weighty, and looks very pretty on display. Eta: the lid, love the extra care and attention to the aesthetic❣️

 

I am happy to now have a reminder of my MIL, she has been so good to me and I feel very fortunate to call her family.
