Hi All! 

We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread!  Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.

Interested in trading with other users?  Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:

IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.

Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.

Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.

Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.

Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.

Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

@notcreative I received the same items in my Allure box as you did.  I assumed the Smashbox was the "gift" since it appears that those who were already subscribed only received 5 items?  Not certain of course.

Oh, I did not think about that. I assumed they gave us a primer, because everyone else got one and threw in the neck cream to make up for the difference in value between the two primers. I guess that makes sense though. Thanks.

Here’s my January Play! Products included; 1. Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel, 2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Kristen, 3. OUAI Haircare Treatment Masque, 4. Glamglow Supercleanse, 5. Smashbox Primerizer, 6. Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream. Honestly, I’m disappointed by this box. The Primerizer sample is the smallest sample I’ve seen, at .13 fl oz. Also, A FOIL PACKET??? what is that about? Not to mention as a thick haired girl, this likely won’t be enough to cover my lengths. I guess I should end this post on a positive, which is the Boscia Exfoliating Peel. I needed a new exfoliant anyway, and it’s a really good size to try out.

Same!!!  Even though I don't always like the fragrance, a little perfume vial is far superior to most foil samples IMO. Oh well, maybe next month! 🙂  @cindyvonlovely

Lots of excitement for these items. Live for the Real Chemistry peel (and was proud of my restraint only buying one during its sale at Ulta yesterday). Can't wait to try the Sunday Riley serum, Oribe shampoo & conditioner, Clarks face cream, fresh toner, TULA neck cream, and the VERB Hydrating Mask.

I got the same play box as you. I wish i could customize it more so I can stop receiving mascara samples, since I no longer need them

I was super impressed with the winter 2017 box but looked at some reviews on past boxes and thought meh. Here's hoping they keep up with items like the winter box, and I will keep my subscription.

@notcreative @ZombieMetroAnt I've subbed to FFF for a year and all my 2017 boxes were pretty amazing!  Prior to that, I'd buy on a box by box basis, depending on the spoilers!  This past Winter 2017 box was one of my faves! ❤️

This was the Winter 2017 box, BUT I have never seen one that good before. The Exfolikate, which I love, retails for $75. I also adored the AHAVA hand cream and pillow spray before purchasing. The good news is this is the best box I've seen, and I got to see it before I decided. Just lookout for spoilers on the next box so you can see if it is amazing BEFORE subscribing.

@notcreative This box was incredible! I just gave in and ordered the Editor’s on sale with a different email. FFF has been rocking it lately with the value of their boxes.

I saw the editor's box and while I thought it was nice, I did not want to get it. I cannot wait to see your photos and read your thoughts when it arrives. It does have the poncho I really like. Knowing my luck I probably would have gotten it in the same color though.
