Hi All!
We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread! Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.
Interested in trading with other users? Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:
IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.
Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.
Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.
Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.
Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.
Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.
SUCCESSFUL TRADE EXPERIENCES?
Consider providing your feedback on successful trades on this thread here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/Successful-Trades-or-TSB-Experiences/td-p/1012387

Thanks for sharing @RGbrown! That is how my eye liner turned out today as well. I will definitely need some practice with the roller. I'm bad at eyeliner in general but I keep trying...maybe someday I'll get the hang of it.
@LazybeautybeastUnidentified
It's a bit tricky, no? 😂
It's such an interesting and innovative idea, something totally new...and yet, so difficult to use that it's useless in reality. I'm not sure why anyone thought this was a good idea 😆
I totally agree @RGbrown. I feel like the right pressure is key but I just can't get it right. I definitely won't repurchase it in the future, but it is something new to try.
Oh my @RGbrown!! I guess it will definitely be eyeliner under shadow for a couple of tries until I get the hang of it!!! That lipstick is definitely meant for you!!!!
@KrishAtlUnidentified
Good luck with your practice...definitely interested to hear if you ever get the hang of it (not sure I ever will lol)! 😋
@RGbrown @Lazybeautybeast @Shosh85 I still haven’t tried the new roller eyeliner cause I ran out of contacts and totally blind as a bat without my glasses on...so figured blind will not help at all with this eyeliner!!! But, now after reading y’alls posts, I am wondering about just forgetting the roller concept and enjoying this eyeliner with one of my tried and true liner wands. Has anybody ever tried using a liner wand from a different eyeliner in a bottle that it didn’t come with?? I know it’s been done with mascara...but eyeliner🤔
@KrishAtlUnidentified
Blind might actually help. Ok, maybe not help so much as obscure the results from you, but hey, it's all good 🤣
I don't use black eyliner much anyways, but if I did, I'd certainly be using this up with a regular liner brush instead of the roller. 👍
@RGbrown @Shosh85 @LazyBeautyBeast I can’t believe it! The Roller eyeliner worked for me easily on the first try!! I swear it! I did one swipe on my hand and saw how easy it roller (mechanism) so I literally just lightly touched my eyelid and when I saw it released product I did small tiny mini rolls, almost like a light dab-roll combo all the way across my eye. Easily made a beautiful tight line. I easily made a very long wing in one swipe but felt it was tooo long and vintage-makeup looking for my day of housewife errands(!) and thought my makeup was ruined, but it easily just flakes off then I rubbed at it! I couldn’t believe how easy the cleanup was, compared to some of the eyeliner messes I have made with all my other tried and true liquid liners. After a few minutes the rest of my eye set beautifully and is incredibly comfortable and lightweight on my eyelids! Dare I say I love this product!!...
It’s a little wobbly, but not bad!!
@KrishAtl~ Very nicely executed! Thank you for sharing 😍 Now I really REALLY want to try the roller eyeliners!
@KrishAtl Wow! Nice job – that looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing your technique! I'll have to try it sometime! 👌😍🙌
@KrishAtlUnidentified
Congrats! I'm stunned! It looks lovely!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
@RGbrown Thanks for sharing your efforts! I'm pretty sure that's a lot better than I could do! 👍😉 Also, side note, that lipstick shade is beautiful and suits you well! 🤗
@Shosh85Unidentified
Thanks so much!
I don't even know what to say about this liner lol...it's a mess of a product. 😂
Another good Ipsy sub. I really love when they include masks! The bag is pretty cute too! 🤗
Just a few close-ups if you're interested 👇
@Shosh85~ Thanks for sharing your Ipsy selections! I think that is a good group of items they sent. I agree with the others when they mentioned the belief that Ipsy is getting much better with great additions. The Morphe powder is new to me! I guess when I think Morphe, I just always envision the brushes and nothing else. Ha ha.
@Shosh85 I agree, this looks like a great Ipsy set! Also love how cute the bag is and the gold bottom adds a nice touch ✨
@lmaster Right?! It seem like they've been better! 👍😊
The Morphe is a beautiful shade, @Shosh85. Never tried that brand before but it’s very pretty!
@eshoe I thought it was pretty too😉 I'm not totally positive if I've used (or own😂) the brand or not, but I have heard a lot of positive reviews about this brand round here and it does seem they have a good variety and good prices👍
