Subscription Central (Spoilers, Unboxings, and More)

Hi All! 

We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread!  Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.

Interested in trading with other users?  Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:

IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.

Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.

Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.

Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.

Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.

Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

October Boxycharm

This box was my least favourite box.  I'm not particularly looking forward to any of these items.  

*however, it could be the perfect box for someone else. Just want people to see the variations.*

@l8totheparty yeah. I like dose of colors as a brand but that palette doesn’t add to my collection. I stopped boxy because I was just consistently underwhelmed after the first box.

the dose of colors palette is such good quality thoughhhh!!! impressed me! and I'm almost done with that skin&co face spray.. it works really well over or under your toner to plump up skin!

@l8totheparty  It feels like a lot of repeats. I was curious about those tweezers though and was hoping on getting them, sadly I got something else instead.

They are sending me the brushes I missed from a previous box, so I'm happy about that.  I haven't even used the tweezers. How many pairs of tweezers does one person with naturally barely there brows who plucks a stray brow hair maybe once a month and doesn't work with wood products? The answer is 1. I have 2. I didn't need this 3rd lol. 🙄😊

@l8totheparty  Thats awesome that they are sending you brushes, hopefully its the luxie ones. Dang, yeah true. Heck I have to keep plucking, and sometimes notice them at random times, so I always have a pair somewhere around...or at least try to. I am curious what these upcoming boxes have in store for us, other then the spoilers that were posted.

October boxycharm. Overall it’s a pretty decent box. I like the palette but I’ll probably gift the rest

October boxycharm! I'm not super excited this month. I won't use the gloss or the eye liner. I'm excited to try the Dose of Color palette...I just wish it was a different shade. The wipes and moisturizer will be nice to try too.

I totally missed your response @SAlyFitz. DM me if you want to trade palettes. 🙂 Full disclosure, I lightly swatch one or two shades but otherwise it has been in the box it came in since I got it.

💗 the Koh Gen Do face wipes. I got them in a previous Boxycharm box.  I guess they are giving leftovers in the boxes? Not sure why.  @Lazybeautybeast 

I should have canceled when the options to choose from seemed unimpressive in the October box.

I wondering did anyone sign up for Ipsy Ultimate? From the online chatter it sounds like people are disappointed, but is it really that bad?

I had planned to skip my Plus bag, but I totally forgot to do so, but I'm relatively pleased with the spoilers. I'll hold back full judgement until it's in my hands.

@snoflakefaerie  I signed up and then canceled after spoilers came out. It wasn’t worth the $50 to me.

@jen81 @faeriegirl it appears lots of people saw the first spoilers and cancelled. I finally saw all the possible products that were candidates for the Ultimate bag, and they definitely don't seem like there are enough good products to drop $50 on a box.

@lmaster I saw yesterday that Ipsy issued a public survey about how they can improve the Ultimate bag, so it seems the outcry has been enough for them to notice. Have you filled it out?
