Subscription Central (Spoilers, Unboxings, and More)

Hi All! 

We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread!  Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.

Interested in trading with other users?  Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:

IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.

Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.

Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.

Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.

Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.

Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

NO! That's the worst! I think I got on the wait list too late to get it this month. It went live while I was at work so it was probably 2ish hours before I got on the list. 🤷‍♀️ From what I saw online it seemed like if you didn't jump in the first 30mins, you missed out.

I am extremely happy I signed up for Boxycharm Premium. The brushes are so soft. The only product I’m not sure of is the Dragun skin perfecting potion because it is a really dark orange color.

Wow! You are lucky @faeriegirl! I didn't get off the wait list this month. I'm curious how next month will be. I'm not impressed with the spoilers I've seen for BoxyLuxe next month. 🤷‍♀️

I was shocked that I got off the waitlist @Lazybeautybeast. So far I’m not excited about The boxyluxe spoilers either. The only spoiler I’ve seen for next months premium is a choice between the Dose of Colors hidden treasures palette and the same Storybook briar rose palette that’s in the boxyluxe.

Agreed, the Boxylux spoilers so far are not great. Even the SATURDAY SKIN - Waterfall Glacier Water Cream I'm not excited about, and I chose that one. @faeriegirl @Lazybeautybeast

it's meant to be that darkish orange color and put under concealer to neutralize any dark spots/circles.. sorta like the whole red lipstick under the eyes craze lol I haven't tried it but I've seen a few youtubers use it who were fair skinned and it turned out great.. try it when u have nowhere to be just in case

oooo me too @faeriegirl I had actually cancelled almost all my subscriptions because I was getting things I knew I wouldn't use,, after seeing this ND palette,, I've been wanting for so long,,I had to sign up!! super excited!!

October Boxycharm

This box was my least favourite box.  I'm not particularly looking forward to any of these items.  

*however, it could be the perfect box for someone else. Just want people to see the variations.*

@l8totheparty yeah. I like dose of colors as a brand but that palette doesn’t add to my collection. I stopped boxy because I was just consistently underwhelmed after the first box.

the dose of colors palette is such good quality thoughhhh!!! impressed me! and I'm almost done with that skin&co face spray.. it works really well over or under your toner to plump up skin!

@l8totheparty  It feels like a lot of repeats. I was curious about those tweezers though and was hoping on getting them, sadly I got something else instead.
