Hi All! 

We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread!  Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.

Interested in trading with other users?  Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:

IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.

Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.

Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.

Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.

Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.

Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

@ElleElleG yes! I’m a few months in with Play! Just signed up for FabFitFun, too. Will probably not stay enrolled in 3 constantly, but I’m thinking FFF + 1 other. I really love the deluxe samples though- if you get enough of them it keeps things fun and also extends the life of the expensive products in your cabinet (so to speak)!

I signed up for the Allure box mostly because of your posts @ElleElleG!  the first one was really nice and I'm looking forward to the next ones!  I had ipsy for over a year and it got to the point where I was dreading getting another bag with stuff that's nice but I will never use.  It took me over half an hour to unsub from ipsy which rubbed me the wrong way.  It's the Hotel California of subscription services.

yeah I told ipsy I was done and I told them what I think and she let me pick one for next month and then I'm done but I'm more done with play by sephora it's sad that we spend so much and get nothing back from play r anything that we have checked. they do not go by that tho. What box will the Luna be in. I love my boxycharm but I need to find another one if I'm going to cancel my other 2. What is a good one for skincare. Do u get to pick a item from any box that is under 25? I've thought about allure box

Got my June boxycharm today!

I was pleased to see a non-black eyeliner (even if it is just charcoal instead lol). Kinda sad the eyelashes don't come with glue...I know that's not really the norm, but it still would have been a nice touch for newbies like me that don't have any. @RGbrown How fun! That is a cute box. A complete eye look with lashes and color eyeliner. I thought it was black from the pictures I've seen. I agree with you on the lash glue for newbies. Enjoy! I love those Luxie brushes.

OOOhhh I was wanting to join this for that eyeshadow pallete... @RGbrown How do you like it? Is it cheap, not very pigmented and not long wearing or is it any good? Some pretty colors in it. 🙂

I haven't tried it yet, and I'm not sure I actually will. I have all the colors I like from it in other palettes, and I have way too many palettes for this one to be useful to me in any way. I actually keep meaning to cancel but keep forgetting. It's a decent box with nice stuff, but I'm just not subscription box material...I don't think I'll use much of anything here outside of one or two of the brushes.
