Hi All! 

We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread!  Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.

Interested in trading with other users?  Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:

IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.

Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.

Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.

Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.

Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.

Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

@Samtian @JessyAnne It’s a body scrub that supposedly contains real meteor dust.  I was super excited to get this, but am a little nervous after reading reviews that it can stain your skin...

@Tamara76  I don't even know how that is legal.  An everyday person is not allowed to keep part of a meteorite, and how do you know what's in it?  It could contain toxic levels of metals.  I mean, I guess that company that made that checked all that out...

@Ispend2much6 No idea - their site says it is safe and that it leaves your skin looking iridescent and incandescent.  I'm a little nervous to try because some people have noted in reviews that the charcoal can stain your skin... We'll see..

I got the same Play box @Tamara76 I won’t comment since I feel like there’s about 8,000 people doing so every month😂 I did prefer the hair mask over perfume sample last month, but I have crazy long hair. I seriously love looking at your hauls, lady!!! Do let me know how you like the Blaq!

@Tamara76 wellllll I may have gotten a liiitle over zealous and ordered some, and THEN read reviews. I’ve got! to stop doing that. We shall see. If anything it sounds like it might be super funny. I don’t mind beauty mishaps. It’s like an adventure or something😂 I finally got around to sort of almost trying that guerlain primer yesterday from the luxury play box. I pumped some out, slapped it on my mug and then was like oh no! oh no! Mistakes were made. I’m extremely allergic to most added fragrance and that stuff hits you like a noxious perfumey wave of chemicals. Why I don’t sniff test first is beyond me. But I triple cleansed my face afterwards and no breakouts or hives today so whew! Crisis averted. That Briogeo hair clarifying scrub was another doozy. I’m having a treatment done at the salon Friday because my hair is straight up straw from it. I have GOT to stop listening to Youtubers. 😂

Oh no, @liv545!   Good luck at the hair salon!  Glad the Guerlain crisis was averted - All of their products that I've tried have a very strong fragrance - I like and I'm not sensitive to it, but I imagine it would be too much for people with sensitive skin. 😞

@Tamara76 Looks like you got some good stuff! I was just looking into that curated Birchbox - I had the sub, but canceled, because I was just getting way too much dry shampoo and leave-in conditioner, lol! The curated box looks good though👌

Thanks, @Shosh85!  Yeah - I was getting a ton of dry shampoo in subs, too, and I rarely use it - could not give it away fast enough - lol!  I mainly chose the curated box for the Good Genes. ❤️
