Hi All! 

We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread!  Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.

Interested in trading with other users?  Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:

IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.

Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.

Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.

Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.

Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.

Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

@heartsmyface so sorry about your broken highlighter palette! sigh... I received a broken eyeshadow palette too! I keep reaching them( it's been over 2 weeks) still have not heard back! sigh... At this point I really don't have the energy to deal with them... I think I'm just going to forget about getting a replacement.. I really don't want to waste any more of my time for this!!

Goodness, they just won't give you a break @heartsmyface 😢😢😢.   Sorry you're having to deal with this yet again.  Have they said why they can't just reship the item?

I feel like I either have the worst luck in the world or i’m about to catch a really lucky break after this unlucky streak. 

 They haven’t said why no.  My guess is charms are easier and cheaper to dole out?   I’ve already messaged them suggesting alternate and more effective ways to protect makeup items (bubble wrap), and asking them to just mail out a replacement item in my next box.  We’ll see.  @ElleElleG

@heartsmyface 😩😩😩 that’s sucks so bad! And the highlighter in that palette is amazing, super pigmented. I’ve already used it a few times since I got mine. I’m so sorry yours is broken 😞

It is really pretty.  It pulls quite yellow on me but it’s still workable.  I’ll have to see if I can find something with a similar pattern to repress it with.  @JessyAnne

Boxycharm, Ipsy, and Play! Other than the Grande Lips (midnight purple is NOT very midnight--it's a muddy purple) and the polish from Ipsy (already have an identical color), I'm pretty happy. Unfortunately, I'll be cancelling Ipsy and Play! if the government shutdown doesn't end in a few days. Penny pinching time!

Until you mentioned the shade you received for the lip plumper I had no clue that they varied.  Sorry to hear the name does not coincide with the actual shade.

I was so excited when I read the name @ElleElleG! I was expecting some much darker with blue undertones. This one has a brown undertone which doesn't work for me. Luckily, I have an olive-skinned girlfriend who can wear ANYTHING, so I can give it to her.

Really can't believe a Full sized SR was included!

Both of these are wonderful. Hope you are enjoying the goodies. It was my first Allure box and I loved it. I know that a few products varied from box to box, but I was actually happy to get the same as yours: I don’t mind Smashbox primer and I wanted to try Tula for a while. Well and full size SR is awesome which goes without saying of course lol

This was my first Allure as well @Zvezdochka !  The only products that may get passed on are the Fekkai and Tula.
