We are long overdue for an updated Subscription Sharing thread! Whether it's BoxyCharm, Ipsy, or PopSugar we want to hear (and see) all about what you are subscribed to.
Interested in trading with other users? Here are some things you need to know from @SydBristow and her trade threads:
IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Sephora's terms of use, items cannot be listed "for sale" or even for trade for Sephora or other gift cards. Please do not list "prices" either (which implies selling), but you can list approximate trade value.
Because a number of fake items have been sent in trades, it is strongly advised you provide photos of your higher-end items, including the labeling (you may be asked for it anyway) and list WHERE you purchased the item from. Fakes are readily available from less reputable sellers and can contain toxins! It is important to everyone to know where their cosmetics come from.
Please also be aware that some makeup products cannot be sanitized - please use caution in your trades. When in doubt, ask the community, it's a great resource! Used items you may wish to avoid are mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip glosses, and cream products.
Acquiring Items
Please use discretion with whom you enter into trades with. There is a summarized list of trusted traders here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/List-of-Successful-Traders-January-2015/td-p/1852954 Protect yourself in your trades, ask questions (such as where an item was purchased), ask for additional photos (to show level of usage and/or labeling to prove authenticity).
If you don’t feel 100% comfortable doing a trade because someone is new, you can request they send their items first.
Communication
Please use the private message system on Beauty Talk and/or tag the user you are trying to get in touch with. Communication is key! You can tell a lot about a trade by how the communication goes. If you will be unavailable for any periods of time, please be up front, and if there are any issues with shipping please be up front about that as well.
Delivery
Having tracking and insurance on shipments goes a long way to figuring out where an item might be. The USPS puts anticipated delivery dates and tracking numbers right on the receipt. If there is any issue with an item you have sent out, please follow up with the carrier.

This was my box, too, and definitely one of my all-time favorite Play boxes! Exception being the perfume, but 5/6 items I love is definitely a win.
They did very well this month! I also like the champagne-colored bag.

So I finally got my Walmart Beauty Box , Classic Edition, 5 weeks after my daughter got her Trendsetter box and boy am I disappointed! For it to arrive so late, I had hoped they were waiting on some cool products, but nope, it looks like they've regressed to the way it used to be when I first started subbing to them. 😞

I agree I think I will cancel also. Getting the same thing over and over again
@jen81 I tried to cancel, but kept getting a blank page when I clicked on "subscriptions," so I emailed them. Not only was this box disappointing, I was a little insulted by the grey hair color coupon. Not everyone over 35 has grey hair, Walmart. WTF!
I totally agree @Tamara76 my mom got one and I got the other and neither was really stellar this month although the trendsetter one is definitely better! they are definitely hit or miss
Oh man...sorry to hear @Tamara76. These don't even look good enough for a travel bag - it's always a hit & miss with Walmart.
Sooo my best friend surprised me with a boxy charm subscription (for 6months!!), and I received the box a few days ago - let me just say that I was so excited to receive the box in the first place since I had no idea that it was coming and I was so pleasantly surprised with its contents!
The whole experience was so lovely that it made me look for some other beauty subs that I could sign up for! I was browsing around and came across the allure box and with the website stating that its going to include a Sunday Riley flash serum (Full size!), I caved in and purchased it with the hopes to cancel after I receive the first box in January. Which brings me to my question: is it easy to cancel the allure subscription? I read on Mysubscriptionaddiction's blog (comment section) that a few people got double charged for their boxes etc..is that common? I really hope I don't come to regret signing up for it!

@mezzotown88 I am super excited!!! Im looking forward to January!!! I'm also thinking about signing up my husband for a monthly socks subscription box.. lol. The man loves his socks :facepalm: Im simple.. i get mine from costco and im good for a year lol.. but he requires new ones every month..so i figured why not!
How fun @kromance. Boxycharm is a lot of fun. I have had the allure box on and off and never have had any issues cancelling or being double charged. I actually resubscribed this month because the January box looks so good.
@PrettyPaint That is real good to hear! I think I will keep the allure sub till I get tired of it... I can't believe I am just discovering the world of subscription boxes!

@kromance, oh man, this is how it all started with me! First it was Birchbox (a gift from a friend, too) & before I knew it I was getting about a dozen boxes at home I have dwindled down a bit and Allure is one of the boxes I receive. I've never had an issue with them! I'm happy with their subs - they're probably second to Boxycharm in my list. I was happy with Dec's box....
Although, I think I'm set with Philosophy Purity for a while
