I think everyone can agree that 2020 was a tough year for all and one to remember. We learned about what really matters in life and to cherish the people around us.  To appreciate and thank the frontline workers who risk their lives everyday for us.  As well as how to adapt to the new norm-working from home, virtual learning for our kids, and wearing a mask out. 

I think we all can’t wait for a fresh start and new beginning for the New Year and a little escape from reality.  Please share your hauls for this month and what you look forward to this New Year!

Sephora: I’ve been wanting the Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa ‘71 fragrance mist for a while now, but it’s ALWAYS sold out at my local Sephora, and online. I finally found it in store, and just had to grab it. The whole reason I went into Sephora was to purchase the Briogeo kit, I love being able to sample things before committing to the full size. And this kit has 4 things I really wanted to try by Briogeo! Score! 

Winners (owned by the TJX companies, the Canadian equivalent to TJMaxx): my store had sooo much NARS! NARS foundation, highlighter, blush, lip kits, eyeshadows. But not very many shades I liked. After Googling many, many things to see what they looked like; I settled on one NARS highlighter in the shade “Capri”. There were also lots of MAC face brushes, single brushes and sets, but I’m pretty content with the brushes I have right now... so I only picked up one. The brush is “189” it’s super soft and fluffy. Handle is super sturdy, and it’s just so nice looking! It’s the first MAC brush I’ve ever owned other than 2 MAC eyeshadow brushes (also from Winners or Marshall’s). 

Bath & Body Works: I went in just for the C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve, my all time favourite lip balm; and only strayed in the slightest... 2 single wick candles, Limoncello is a beloved favourite, Let Love Rule (raspberry tangerine) is new to me but smells  promising! Also got 6/$10 Pocket-Bacs, but there wasn’t too big of a selection at my store so I had to double up on 2 scents. 

Etsy order from The Glitzy Gazelle: these super cute lipstick earrings were just screaming my name! I had purchased other earrings from The Glitzy Gazelle before, and she posted they would be available soon. So I 100% stalked her Etsy page until she put them up to make sure I could grab a pair🤣👏🏻

@twilightnicky I'm curious like @CookieGirl1 about the IGK Good Behavior line.  The IGK Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray was already on my radar, but I just got the Ulta catalog and it was advertising the prep spray and the styling product.

I love IGK hair products, I use their detox dry shampoo and shampoo & conditioner. The 4 in 1 spray is so amazing! My hair looks like silk or glass, so shiny 😀

Ok, it's my first purchase of this.....it's so amazing! It did everything it claims to do: it detangled my fine hair. It heat protected from my hair dryer. Frizz, what frizz? And my favorite part: my hair was very shiny and silky and reflected like glass lol. So worth every dollar and I highly recommend it!

My birthday month had some but not crazy hauls and I'm happy with what I picked up though the Ulta birthday card with the mascara is HUGE!

Excited to try both the The INKEY List Peptide Moisturizer 1.7 oz/ 50 mL and The INKEY List Ceramide Hydrating Night Treatment 1 oz/ 30 mL - on deck after I finish what I currently have open. Even more happy that I can possibly reuse the Peptide Moisturizer airless pump jar (thanks for telling me @WinglessOne!) since so many moisturizer tend to come in regular jar packaging.
